Does Sir Paul Have a New ‘Pulp’ Love?
About a month after photos of ex-Beatle Paul McCartney and a New York City trucking-company heiress hit the tabloids, new reports are linking Sir Paul to someone a bit more recognizable.
The musical mogul was photographed over the past week with actress Rosanna Arquette, and the two were seen holding hands, the New York Post reports. The Post goes on to report that Britain’s News of the World caught the two in England while McCartney’s supposed new girlfriend, Nancy Shevell, was recovering from an illness in New York.
Shevell, a 47-year-old board member of the Metropolitan Transit Authority in New York City, said “I’m sorry, I don’t want to talk about it,” when a Post reporter inquired about the situation.
Arquette has had several prominent roles throughout her career, including co-starring in ‘Desperately Seeking Susan’ and was in the infamous adernaline shot scene in ‘Pulp Fiction.’
The Post reports that McCartney and Arquette went on two dates on consecutive nights. McCartney’s spokesman, Paul Freundlich, said that they refuse “to comment on Paul’s personal life or business affairs.”

Batman Viral-Marketing Mysteries, Dewey Cox Tighty-Whities Have Us Stoked For New Flicks
‘National Treasure: Book of Secrets,’ ‘Mad Money,’ ‘At World’s End’ DVD also getting hyped through unconventional means.
Does a movie feel more realistic after you’ve solved its mysteries on your Mac? Are you more inclined to care about a character once they’ve mailed you their underwear? Would you like to buy a subscription to a fictional newspaper, promote a beverage that doesn’t exist or mourn a woman who never lived?
In the near-decade since “The Blair Witch Project” changed the rules of movie promotion, lines between the silver screen and the simple life have become increasingly blurred. Phony Web sites, interactive games, movie props and mysteries now appear wherever a potential moviegoer might be. Whether viral marketing is trying to approach ticket buyers directly, or simply get reporters like me to talk about the films (argh, mission accomplished!), 2007 gave us some of the most memorable campaigns yet.

Amy Adams’ ‘Enchanted’ Role Might Be Her Ticket To Happily Ever After
After years of struggling in supporting roles, the actress has landed at the top of the box office as Princess Giselle.
Once upon a time, in early 2002, a struggling young redheaded actress who dreamed of bigger things made her way into a Brentwood, California, yard sale, looking for a bargain. She struck up a conversation with the beautiful brunet proprietor, who was selling secondhand IKEA furniture in preparation to shack up with her boyfriend (who also happens to be the writer of this story). After introducing herself as Amy and chatting about her small role in Steven Spielberg’s next movie, the woman helped herself to an ample array of discounted Scandinavian furniture. Only in Los Angeles.
Now, Amy Adams’ fantasies have come to life, as the 33-year-old is currently starring in Hollywood’s reigning box-office champion, “Enchanted,” which raked in $50 million over the Thanksgiving weekend. But who, exactly, is this new leading lady?
“I’d like to come in at the happily-ever-after moment,” she explained to MTV News recently, using her Princess Giselle role as a jumping-off point for her own thoughts on happy endings. “Often, there’s a lot of struggle that involves getting to happily ever after. So, I guess I’d like to see what happens in that happily-ever-after part.”

‘X-Files’ Sequel: Castmembers, Celeb Fans Want More Mulder-Scully Action, Less Black Oil
They’ve been screaming “We want to believe!” for years — but fans of “The X-Files” finally have something real to crow about, with news last month that the seminal TV series is making its way back to theaters in 2008.
“Finally!” is how Nicolas Lea, who played baddie Alex Krycek, reacted to the announcement. “This story had been percolating for a long time. I feel like if this movie has half the quality and integrity of the series, it will pull in not only past fans of the show, but a whole new generation of X-Philes.”
His sentiment was echoed by “Deadwood” alum W. Earl Brown, who made a guest appearance during the final season of “The X-Files.” “As a fan, I spent a year or so after the finale of the series keeping track on the movie’s development,” he said. “So, to hear that it is now actually happening is quite exciting.”
Starring David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson in their familiar roles as Special Agents Mulder and Scully, the first “X-Files” movie opened in 1998. For fans, it seems as if the sequel has been in development hell ever since then, held up because of a contentious legal battle between series creator Chris Carter and Fox. But even with a script finished for years, little is known about the actual plot of the upcoming film.
