Hayden Christensen is a Neuromancer?

JoBlo.com got the scoop today that Hayden Christensen may be cast in the upcoming movie Neuromancer, based on the book by William Gibson.

The project was set up a few months ago and will be directed by Joseph Kahn (Torque, unfortunately) with a $70 million budget - high considering that the film isn’t set up at any major studio.

While it’s not confirmed, this could easily turn into something cool - the 1984 book is generally considered to have created the whole “cyberpunk” sub-genre.
