Don Johnson Joins Two Projects: “Rome” and “Orgy”

Don Johnson has been cast in both Disney’s “When in Rome” and indie comedy “A Good Old Fashioned Orgy” says The Hollywood Reporter.

Johnson plays the father of a young woman (Kristin Bell – TV’s Veronica Mars) in Mark Steven Johnson’s “When in Rome” who steals coins from an Italian fountain. However, she soon finds herself being pursued by numerous strangers who, having previously thrown coins into the fountain, are now in love with her.

In the indie comedy “A Good Old Fashioned Orgy”, a 30-year-old man (Jason Sudeikis) is forced to grow up when his father (Johnson) decides to sell the family vacation home in the Hamptons, bringing an end to his tradition of throwing elaborate summer theme parties. Wanting to go out with a bang, he enlists his friends to throw one final party – an orgy.

Johnson’s recent TV work includes police series “Nash Bridges” and comedy drama “Just Legal“.
