Josh Brolin Signs Up For “Jonah Hex”

Josh Brolin has signed on to play comic book anti-hero Jonah Hex, according to Hollywood Elsewhere.

“Jonah Hex” graphic novel is created by writer John Albano and artist Tony DeZuniga. The big screen adaptation will be directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (“Crank“) for Warner Bros.

This has yet to be confirmed.

Jonah Hex is an American Civil War veteran with scars covering the right side of his face. The movie will be a sort of sci-fi western, even though the comic book is not sci-fi at all.
