I'm 56 years old and I grew up with the James Bond legend. From reading the Ian Fleming novels as a kid to the almost completely obscure and almost unknown British T.V. show (the FIRST Bond), From Sean Connery to Peter Sellers to Roger Moore (blechh) to Timothy Dalton (blechh, blechh) to Pierce Brosnan (not bad) and now the mantle has been passed to Daniel Craig and for my money, he IS James Bond. The absolute living reproduction of what Ian Fleming pictured. Even more so than Connery. Connery was suave, had the toughness but lacked the dark intensity of James Bond.
Pierce Brosnan was actually closer to being Bond than Connery was but still lacked that semi-psychotic spark, much like Batman.
It will be a tragedy (I feel) for ALL true Bond eficionados if Daniel Craig should not return for at least two more turns as the only REAL spy - James Bond.

The bond movies are always fantastic as they consist of every thing which an average viewer wants - action, glamour, thrill and suspense. Personally my favorite bond actor is Pierce Brosnon.
