G.I. Joe Movie Card Profiles
Hisstank.com has posted up all of the movie cards for the characters in “G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra” featuring the first look at G.I. Joe’s communications specialist Breaker, Cobra’s scientist The Doctor, Cobra Viper and master of disguise Zartan.
In addition, the cards also provide a description of the two groups: G.I. Joe and Cobra.
G.I. Joe is a highly trained, classified Special Operations Unit composed of men and woman from around the globe. Officially, these warriors don’t even exist. Few know the truth – that G.I. Joe fights a secret war, as the first and last line of defense against forces that seek to plunge our world into chaos. Wherever there’s trouble, G.I. Joe is there!
The film is directed by Stephen Sommers (The Jungle Book, Deep Rising, The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, Van Helsing,) stars Ray Parks, Sienna Miller, Rachel Nichols, Said Taghmaoui, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Marlon Wayans, Channing Tatum, Dennis Quiad, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Arnold Vosloo, Karolina Isela Kurkov, Byung Hun Lee and Christopher Eccleston.
You’ll be able to see the first footage from the film this weekend in a Superbowl TV spot.
“G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra” comes to theaters August 7 from Paramount Pictures.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine Poster
A new poster for “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” has just released by 20th Century Fox.
The action-thriller which stars Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Danny Huston, Lynn Collins, Taylor Kitsch and Ryan Reynolds will hit the theaters on May 1st 2009.

Shrek Spinoff Puss in Boots In The Works
TV scribe Tom Wheeler will pen the “Shrek” spinoff “Puss in Boots” for DreamWorks Animation.
The popular Antonio Banderas-voiced character, debuted in “Shrek 2″ – the 10th-highest-grossing movie of all time – was so well recieved by audiences so Puss will get his own stand-alone film.
The Shrek franchise is a multibillion-dollar property that has made over “$2 billion worldwide in theaters, tens of millions of DVDs sold and merchandising in every toy store.
Chris Miller, who added voices and dialogue to previous “Shrek” installments and co-directed and co-wrote the third movie, wrote an earlier draft of the “Puss” screenplay.
Studio bosses announced that two more sequels would be made with the final fourth movie. So, “regular,” the fourth, installment in the massive franchise, “Shrek Goes Fourth,” is set to debut in theaters May 21, 2010.
Knowing International Poster
Take a look at new international poster for the upcoming Nicolas Cage sci-fi thriller “Knowing.”
In 1958, as part of the dedication ceremony for a new elementary school, a group of students is asked to draw pictures to be stored in a time capsule. But one of the students, a mysterious girl who seems to hear whispered voices, fills her sheet of paper with rows of apparently random numbers instead.
Alex Proyas (”I, Robot“, “Dark City“, “The Crow“) is director and co-writer of “Knowing” which also stars Rose Byrne, Chandler Canterbury and Ben Mendelsohn.
“Knowing” is scheduled to hit theaters on March 20th, 2009.

Scott Derrickson Will Direct “Hyperion”
Scott Derrickson, “The Day the Earth Stood Still” director, will direct “Hyperion Cantos” based on two Dan Simmons sci-fi novels – “Hyperion” and “The Fall of Hyperion.”
Story is set in the distant future, as a space war threatens Hyperion, a planet known for the Time Tombs – large artifacts that can move through time and are guarded by a gruesome monster called the Shrike.
Trevor Sands will adapt two Simmons’ novels into a script for one movie – “Hyperion Cantos.”
Sands co-wrote and directed the 2002 film “Inside.” Recently he’s worked on Dimension’s “Six Million Dollar Man” and adapted the David Brin sci-fi novel “Startide Rising” for Paramount.
Scott Derrickson will direct “Hyperion Cantos” for Warner Bros. and GK Films.
Race To Witch Mountain Super Bowl Spot
“Race to Witch Mountain” is a film that tells the story of two children (AnnaSophia Robb and Alexander Ludwig) with psychic abilities whose search for their origins gets them caught up in an adventure with a cab driver (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson) and a UFO specialist (Carla Gugino).
The original 1975 picture “Escape to Witch Mountain” was followed by the sequel “Return From Witch Mountain”, as well as a 1995 made-for-TV remake.
“Race to Witch Mountain” is scheduled to hit theaters on March 13th, 2009.

Monsters vs. Aliens Four New Posters
Four brand new posters for the upcoming 3D animated “Monsters vs. Aliens” recently surfaced showcasing some of the monsters and aliens.
The film, centers on an alien invasion for which the government, headed by president of the United States – Stephen Colbert, sends monsters to stop monsters which include the gigantic Reese Witherspoon – Ginormica , Dr. House Cockroach – Hugh Laurie, the jellylike Seth Rogen B.O.B. and the Missing Link – Will Arnett.
