Twilight Eclipse Starts Shooting in August
Production Weekly has revealed that “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” is scheduled to start filming on August 17.
The movie will film in Vancouver (Vancouver Film Studios) from August 17 through October 31, David Slade (30 Days of Night) will direct from a script by Melissa Rosenberg.
In the third installment of the franchise, coming to theaters on June 30, 2010, Bella (Kristen Stewart) once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward (Robert Pattinson) and her friendship with Jacob (Taylor Lautner) – knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.
The second installment in the film series, “The Twilight Saga: New Moon“, is currently set for release on November 20, 2009. The third film will be released on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.
“I Am Number Four” Plot Details
DreamWorks has acquired the screen rights to “I Am Number Four,” the first of a six-book science fiction series. Director Michael Bay (Transformers) is set to produce and possibly direct the novel adaptation.
The franchise is about a group of nine earthbound alien teens who escaped their planet just before it was destroyed by a hostile species. While the high school-aged kids assimilate, the title character discovers that he is being hunted by the enemy that blew up his planet.

The protagonist is 15. The rival race of aliens are from the planet Mogadore. They destroyed Lorien in order to strip the planet of its natural resources because Mogadore was dying, and still is, and they followed the Loric to Earth to finish the job. The Loric develop their “Legacies” (special powers) around their fifteenth year. This first book is a kind of love story. At its core it’s a type of father/son alone in the world, always moving to stay alive story, a lá The Road.
James Fey (A Million Little Pieces) is attached as a writer. Steven Spielberg is also expected to be involved in a capacity similar to his behind-the-scenes work on Transformers.
The Irishman: Behind the Scenes Footage
MovieSet has just released the first-ever behind-the-scenes footage and stills from the set of crime drama “The Irishman” starring Ray Stevenson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Val Kilmer and Christopher Walken.
“The Irishman” chronicles the rise and fall of infamous Cleveland gangster Danny Greene (Ray Stevenson), who engaged in a power struggle with the Italian mob. Greene was as an upstart longshoreman union rep and later became a cocky, legendarily difficult-to-kill troublemaker in the world of organized crime in the 1970’s. Based on the real story of mobster Danny Greene, Christoper Walken will play the loan shark and nightclub owner Shondor Birns and Val Kilmer is a Cleveland police detective who befriends Greene.
The film, directed by Jonathan Hensleigh (The Punisher), is based on Rick Porrello’s book “To Kill the Irishman: The War That Crippled the Mafia” will be released in 2010.
Four Minute Harry Potter 6 Clip

Here’s four minutes clip of “Harry Potter 6,” directed by David Yates, featuring some new footage.
In “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” Lord Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and Wizard worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching.
This is the sixth book in J.K. Rowling’s immensely popular series. Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Michael Gambon, Tom Felton, Jim Broadbent, Evanna Lynch, and Bonnie Wright.
“Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” hits theaters on July 15th, 2009.
New Jennifer’s Body Pics: Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried
Four new pics from the Diablo Cody-scripted horror flick “Jennifer’s Body” have hit the web and features Megan Fox (Jennifer Check) and Amanda Seyfried (Needy Lesnicky).
Plot summary: When a gorgeous cheerleader is possessed by a demon and starts feeding off the boys in a small Minnesota farming town, her “plain Jane” best friend must kill her, then escape from a correctional facility to go after the Satan-worshipping rock band responsible for the horrible transformation.
“Jennifer’s Body” is directed by Karyn Kusama (Girlfight, Aeon Flux previously), starring Megan Fox, Amanda Seyfried, Johnny Simmons, Adam Brody and J.K. Simmons.

Here’s a poster for the upcoming horror film “Carriers,” starring Chris Pine (Star Trek), Piper Perabo, Lou Taylor Pucci and Emily VanCamp.
Plot summary: A deadly virus has spread across the globe. Contagion is everywhere, no one is safe and no one can be trusted. Four young attractive people race through the back roads of the American West to the pounding beat of a vacation soundtrack. Their aim is to retreat to secluded utopian beach in the Gulf of Mexico, where they could peacefully wait out the pandemic and survive the apocalyptic disease. Carriers follow their getaway through a surreal and dangerous world where laws and rules no longer apply.
Their plans take a grim turn when their car breaks down on an isolated road starting a chain of events that will seal the fate of each of them in an inexorable and horrifying voyage of hell through a western landscape populated by only the hideous dead or the twisted living. Their desperate retreat south turns into a deadly battle against infected children, homicidal doctors, crazed survivalists, rabid dogs, and, finally each other. The virus is the least of their problems as horrible choices must be made in the face of lost humanity.
International Gamer Trailer
We have added a new international trailer for upcoming action-thriller “Gamer,” both written and directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, the guys behind “Crank” and “Crank: High Voltage”
