Brand New “Gamer” Movie Photos

A new images from the upcoming “Gamer” action-thriller, written and directed by “Crank” creators, Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, have been released.

The film stars Gerard Butler as the consummate player of a virtual game with some pretty heavy real-life consequences.

A multiplayer on-line game called “Slayers” allows humans control other humans in mass-scale. Simon (Logan Lerman) controls Kable (Gerard Butler) the on-line champion of the game, and with his every move tracked by millions, his ultimate challenge becomes regaining his identity and independence by defeating the game’s mastermind (Michael C. Hall) through launching an attack on the system that has imprisoned him.

“Gamer” which also stars Alison Lohman, Amber Valletta, Milo Ventimiglia, Brighid Fleming, Kyra Sedgwick, Ludacris, John Leguizamo, Zoe Bell and Terry Crews is set for release on September 4th, 2009.
