G.I. Joe Trailer #2

A new TV trailer for “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” have popped online featuring some new footage as well as plenty of previously seen footage.

The film sees Channing Tatum as our hero, Duke, part of an elite military force that must take down an evil organisation – the titular Cobra. Cue tight leather bodysuits, explosions and a heck of a lot of speeding around Paris.

Directed by Stephen Sommers, the action-adventure stars Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Christopher Eccleston, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Byung Hun Lee, Sienna Miller, Rachel Nichols, Ray Park, Said Taghmaoui, Channing Tatum, Marlon Wayans and Dennis Quaid. From the Egyptian desert to deep below the polar ice caps, the elite G.I. Joe team uses the latest in next-generation spy and military equipment to fight the corrupt arms dealer Destro and the growing threat of the mysterious Cobra organization to prevent them from plunging the world into chaos.

“G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” hits theaters on August 7, 2009.
