Pirates of the Caribbean 4 Shooting Next Year
Oren Aviv, Disney’s Head of Production, has confirmed that “Pirates of the Caribbean 4” will begin shooting next year with an anticipated release in 2011. The producer spoke to the guys over at ComingSoon.net at this year’s Comic Con about future Disney projects.
“We’re going to shoot ‘Pirates 4′ in April and May of next year,” Aviv told. “We are going to release it hopefully in 2011 is the plan.”
“It’s important to get the story right and it’s important to me to scale it down, because we can’t get bigger. The movies have subsequently gotten bigger and bigger and very complicated and they were satisfying on so many levels obviously, but I want to kind of reboot the whole thing and bring it down to its core, its essence, just characters.”
As we earlier wrote, Gore Verbinski, the director, informed Disney and producer Jerry Bruckheimer that he will not be directing the fourth installment of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise. Still no word on whether Gore Verbinski might come back for the fourth movie.

I can't wait for pirates of the caribbean 4, its apparently going to be released to theaters on may 25th, 2011 wednesday, which is according this website called http://www.ohjohnny.net/ . There is atheatrical release date count down on there for pirates of the caribbean 4, that counts down exactly to may 25th, 2011 wednesday. I would not be surprised if disney announceses that release date as pirates of the caribbean 4's theatrical release date by some time this year or in 2010 when they are already starting to film it!.
I can’t wait until the pirates of the caribbean 4 comes out..I real think all the same people should be
in the movie when you bring new people in it makes the movie suck..so I hope its as good as all the others
Jack and barbossa are the only character excpected to be returning, and there will several new characters as well, that will be played by more new actors and actresses who that are already famous actors and actresses, who that have been in other big movies as well!.
jack is good but pirates of the caribbean would stink with out elisabeth and will.
