Four New Robin Hood Photos

The Photo Gallery has been updated with four new photos from the upcoming “Robin Hood” movie. You can check out bigger versions of each by clicking them below.

This version of Robin Hood focuses on Robin’s backstory as an archer in the army of King Richard the Lionheart. It also touches on his childhood, during which he was abandoned by his parents and thus has trouble trusting people. He spends his time in the army fighting the French, then returns to Nottingham where he becomes an outlaw while wooing the widowed Lady Marian

The film, directed by Ridley Scott, stars Russell Crowe as Robin Hood, Cate Blanchett as Maid Marian, Matthew Macfadyen as the Sheriff of Nottingham, Danny Huston as King Richard, Mark Strong as Sir Godfrey, William Hurt as William Marshall, Scott Grimes as Will Scarlet.

“Robin Hood” will open wide in theaters across the U.S. on May 14, 2010.
