Fast & Furious 5 Confirmed & Titled, Plot Details Revealed

I would definitely be more excited for this installment if they found some way of bringing Michelle Rodriguez back, we technically never saw her body, right? I’ll keep my fingers crossed…

I’m ready for a new one. I dont think they need to bring Letti back, she died, we saw the funeral, that would ruin the whole plot of Fast & Furious….Although it would be nice to see Vince, Leon, maybe even Sean from Tokyo Drift. You see Dom and Sean at the end of Tokyo Drift together. I dont know, just something unexpected. As far as the title goes, it makes me feel as if they are going to bring some of the old guys back to make it five people. At least that is what I hope for. I am anxious to see how they break Dom out of the prison bus, if you recall at the end of Fast & Furious they show the prison bus, then a T/A, NSX, and the old GTO roll up, it just leaves you hanging, knowing that they are going to break him out somehow…..

Many people will be *very disappointed* if they bring someone back from the dead. I love Michelle Rodriguez as much as anyone, but it makes absolutely no sense for Letty to come back. If they’re shooting for 5 people my hope would be: Vince, Brian, Mia, Sean and Roman (Tyrese). Those are the main actors from the entire franchise minus Letty, who is dead.

First off it’s not a GTO it’s a damn Dodge Charger with a what looks to be a charger 500 front grill, how you could mess that up when they are two different manufactures is beyond me…Also they didn’t bring Han back if you actually followed the story you’d know that this took place in between fast and furious 2 and Tokyo Drift. It’s the prequel to Tokyo Drift, hence why Han says he’s gonna take off to Tokyo at the begining of the movie.

You people who keep insisting letty should return for the 5 ….. WTF !! Need I remind you all that “Han”, who was a main character that died in Tokyo drift, returned in the fourth film. Presumably the fourth took place either before or at the same time as Tokyo drift. It was “do-able” with this character as he could be involved in another story with no relevance to Dom. Letty can’t do this as we know she and Dom got together when she was 16. To bring back Letty for the fifth would be disasterous to the whole series, I would however like to see Vince, Leon, Sean and Roman back for the fifth

Ok i’m getting a pretty cool understanding of where i think they’re taking this. the first two went well together but the third threw me off because of the new characters, until the fourth came out and the idea of the fifth was released. ok, so you guys remember how in the end of the third, when Dom comes out to drift, how they said he was all over Europe, rings a bell right lol. well anyways the third movie is like the fourth part of the series, the fourth movie is like the third part, and the fifth movie is like the 4.5th movie since Europe was where Dom was while Han was in Tokyo and the Sixth movie should be the 5th part or the cont. of tokyo and fast-five. “Killing” Letty was wasteful and insulting to fans who’d been waiting for the reunion movie. And indeed, it was never confirmed that she died. The character should be brought back, along with Dom, Brian, and Mia. Give some of us fans the movie we’ve been waiting to see since the first one.

I heard it is going to be set in europe! hope to see some Brit/Euro cars on there for a change. Love Japanese and american cars but would just be good to see cars like BMW, Audi, Aston Martin, Lotus and maybe one or two beefed up superlights like the caterham. What about a few old motors too? As for tha characters I’d like to see Tyrese Gibson Back in as he just adds a bit if madness to the film. I think the woman in the last film who took a liking to Dom may turn up!

If they were to do a (5) man run, it would at least be:

i hope they use real nice cars like they did on 2 fast 2 furious and the supra and the charger from the first one, i really wanna see that skyline back again, and some other import tuned NOT AMERICAN MUSCLES well except for the charger. i still think they could’ve used a better car then that stock skyline in the fast and furious 4.

Ok i agree witg those who say that F&F was a story that tells the events after 2F2F and before F&F:TD. Now it really hacks me off that those of you who disagree with us others say that the story is wrong cuz its not. Think logically about all of the movies in the franchise. Beleive me ive seen every movie at least 50 times each and can clearly tell what the next inatallment will be about but at the same time there are so many possibillities about how the 5th will start. Jesse is possible character comeback also Vince too. Roman is a maybe but Tej (luda’s character from 2F2F)?? It would be a HUGE surprise to see him back cuz he was barely around that much in 2F2F. i think 5 will have something todo with gettin dom out of jail and all that crazyness, then a cuple of awsome driveing sceans as they try to get away from the cops and get dom out of the counrty, there gunna find some way to get him into tokyo so he can meet up with han, cause dom dont know about his death till he arives in tokyo, he finds the parking gargae were the race is at the end of tokyo drift, and maybe they end it there again, setting up for 6 on a clean plate, or maybe follow threw with the race and do what ever they think of.

They should bring back letty and jesse. I never saw a funeral for jesse’s minor machine gun wounds, and letty’s roll over and get shot wasn’t how it really went down. Dom was mad that whole movie for no reason. Any way, they should find a way to kill brian by catching him on fire then blowing him up in flames. Then dom should burst into flames spontaneously in the middle of the movie for no reason, then blow up. Then mia and letty should definitely get naked and have a lesbian scene and get arrested for indecent exposure in a grocery store. Later they burn in flames from catching each other on fire, and blow them up too, just to be sure there dead. Then jesse should freak out cause everyones dead and he’ll die from a heart attack and catch on fire, then blow up. And who ever else is left should open up a sex shop in place of Toretto’s and call it uranus.

Hopefully Brians girl gets a bigger roll shes hot, and they deff need that NSX from the end of the last one in with her. That would be nice. Are you guys serious? This can’t be more obvious. The movie is call Fast 5, meaning that the Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Don Omar, Tego and the girl are the fast 5. If any reason they will plan to brign Tyrese and “Sean” well is obvious that after taking Tom from the jail bus, they get together to set a plan, Tom goes to Japan looking for Han but brings Sean while Paul Walker would be going to Miami to bring in Tyrese. And then everyone will go to Brazil and steal some something. that is why this makes no sense. Maybe after for Fast and Furious 6 we could see the recruiting of everyone but the fast 5 are already set. And letty is dead cause they killed her on purpose. Read the news and stop dreaming and guessing.

Who ever thought that Han came back is an idiot: Fast and Furious takes place before Tokyo Drift. Considering that 1) Han is ALIVE, and 2) he says “I hear they’re doing crazy s$!7 in Tokyo. It was done to really tie the first 2 and Tokyo Drift together. And we know Dom escapes, cause he shows up at the end of Tokyo. Techinically, if the plot above says that Dom and Bryan are on the run, this could take place inbetween Fast and Furious and Tokyo Drift…very interesting…

I’m super stoked to see a 5th installment!! I’m watching the first one right now, it will be the 2nd time I have watched 1-4 back to back this month! I can’t get enough, nor will I EVER get tired of seeing them.

That being said:
I hope to god that they show us AS MUCH actual racing as possible! That’s is why we watch, true car nuts want racing not drama. Street racing is how the title got so popular in the first place yet 2 fast 2 furious was lacking in the car department. They attempted to encompass a larger reach by including muscle cars, trucks, and too much chrome. Bring back the street imports and have them battle domestic muscle on the street and at the track.

My bad for the rant, I just want to see some modified cars being pushed as hard as possible without the cheese!

Han died when his car exploded, watch the behind the scenes stuff, youll understand it better. Letty, shes long gone. Her death gave dom the inscentive to go do what he did in the fourth and take down braga, which proved to be successful. At the end of tokyo drift, we see dom race sean, they will more than likely continue this race in the fifth and show us what happens from there. Sam-ayeee, no more gtr. I loved the car from the moment i saw it in the second one, and when he orders the three from the impound lot in the fourth i think this is a suitable amount of imports. I think brian liked the feel of the 69 CHARGER and is gonn a start racing muscles with dom. Also, theyve done drifting, dragging, sprinting twice, and I believe theyre gonna make it to the NYRA crcuit that hector talked about in the first one. I also believe theyre gonna be racing in a team/wingman style in the fifth one. The predictions about the fifth are in my opinions, no facts about them so dont get pissy. What ive stated about the previous ones are facts.

Like was said by Paul Walker and Vin Diesel, Fast 5 will be set here in Brazil. So the cars is expected to see here will be BMW, late Ford and GM models. For compasion , an 1998 540 BMW is easy to by for around 25K dollars !!! Cars like this one or Camaros between 1999 to 2002, and other american models around this years, its our reality in terms of cars for tunning or street race.

Instead of all the ideas i could see aswell as a fith movie that we get one that is set before The fast and the furious where we can find out some un-answered questions about doms past and how his “team” came to form.

But for the 5th i would like to see something alike the first one where dom is the leader of a street racing organisation type thing again. but this time brian is part of it all from start.

As most agree letty is dead it is the whole reason for fast and furious(the 4th movie) Roman will not be in Fast 5 becuase 2 Fast 2 Furious is before Fast and Furious. If you recall after Brian and Rome help catch the drug smugglers for the cops in 2 Fast 2 Furious Brian returns to become a fed being as the last thing he did was let Dom go not break him out. The 5th one will most likely have Dom Brian Mia Don Omar and Tego they were the last ones in Fast and Furious the only way to continue the serious in order. Tego has also said he is going to be in Fast 5. Also there will be a mix of american muscle and imports which is what the true racing seen is its a mix not all one or the other. Im not really sure about the name, “Fast Five” sounds like a cheesy boyband. Maybe something like Stage Five, which isn’t much better. How about “5 times Fast” or “5 Times Furious.” Its be best I got right now. Brazil?! I think they should shoot in Baja, CA or San Diego. The plot should be something like stopping the deadly cartels from crossing the border. If you remember, there was an abduction that took place in San Diego, by Mexican Cartels. The victim survived unharmed, but the uncle who was responsible went to jail. Counter drug trafficing was the plot in the second and 4th film, plus so many other movies like Bad Boys 1 & 2, Exit wounds, and Miami Vice. Im tired of seeing it. About bringing people back from the original, I think they should have some sort of reconciliation between Dom Toreto and Kenny Linder, the Guy whom Dom nearly killed, that you only saw pictures of in the first one. Those two sort of owe each other. This new one needs to be extreme and intense like nothing else. All I can say is Define the name of the franchise, The Fast and the Furious, and set for a 2011′ release. Thats 10 years after the first one. Lets have it!

Dude and ladies, allow me to clear this up for you. Fast and Furious 4 took place between Fast and Furious 2 and Tokyo drift. At the end of Tokyo Drift Dom appeared to race the new DK and explained that he and Han were good friends. In F&F4 after the gasoline heist Han and Dom part ways, use common sense here, he went back home to Tokyo. You never see him again in the film. Now onto Letty. They could bring her back….if they want to ruin the movie!!! Sorry guys and gals, she’s dead. We don’t need to see a physical body to come to that conclusion. She’s not a super hero. I love Letty too, but if they bring her back I’m done with the franchise based on stupidity alone.

Ok so i was reading some of these comments…First of all i agree with a lot of people…bringing back letty would be idiotic… they didn’t bring back hans, fast and furious was a prequel to tokyo drift so he was still alive during the supposed time fast and furious was done. if you recall Dom had given the hint that hans was into american muscle and a lot of viewers wanted to see that. this new movie is most likely going to be after fast and furious…so the likely-hood of it having sean might be a bit high…

The didnt bring back Han. The movie tokyo drift takes place after fast and furious. Because in fast and furious Han says he is going to go to Tokyo and in tokyo drift, Dom said Han was an old friend. So hopefully in the new one it’ll start where it was left off because the endings in both movies left us hanging.

possible plot:

Transition from previous film:
upon hearing Doms sentance, O’Connor stormed from the courtroom where he returned to FBI headquarters

to see his FBI contact Bilkins(now an FBI dpty. director) in a last ditch effort to “save Dom”. Upon

bursting in, Bilkins hangs up the phone and interrupts Brian telling him that he knows what he wants

and that he is going to give it to him. that he some new info has come to light and to go get Toretto and bring him back to headcortors ASAP. “and makes the call” as brain leaves with a siked, yet confused

look. running into Mia and company in the lobby on his way out, when asked whats going on he tells them

he is going to get dom. they all follow.

cut to transport sequence from ending of last film.

As Brian tries to get the bus drivers attention, the confused, yet cautious guards question of “what

the hell is this guy doing?” is answered as the call comes over the radio and they pull over to release

Dom into Brians custody as ordered by their superior. Shortly after the bus pulls away, a couple of fed cars pull up with several agents exiting informing Brian and co. that they are to escort them back to headcorders.

Cut to FBI headcorters.

As Brian and company enter the building the men from dominecan republic are told to wait in the lobby

as Mia and Dom are taken to an interrogation room. Brian confused is told to see the director. he

returns to bilkins office interrupting agent Stasiak and the lead investigator from the previous film

in some sort of paniced convo as they are being slightly scolded by Bilkins.

Film is now seemlessly blended with previous film.

Begin new plotline:
O’Connor realizing something is up asks whats going on to which bilkins exclaims tell him. at which

time a reluctant agent Stasiak with an urging look from bilkins and a huffed expression from the lead

investigator begins to tell Brian that Letty is still alive to which an excited yet disgruntled brian

starts to inquire as to why he wasnt told but is promptly interrupted by the lead investigator with the

old “need to know basis” line.. to which Brian rolls his eyes and says he has to go tell Dom.

As he starts to leave the lead investigator tells him that he might not want to do that and as brian

pauses Bilkins tells brian to sit down. Brain reluctantly does and bilkins begins to tell brian that he

may have been right back in LA about toretto. that a new bust revieled some possible new information

pointing to the Trans as an organized crime family and as the real guilty party of the truck heists but before anything could be official the source was killed. Brian, asking ok so now what.. is drawn to agent Stasiak again as he in embarrasse fashion begins to tell him that Letty had told him some of this information but he unaware of bilkins inquery of the LA case and didnt act on it. Brian, somewhat excited at this point, remarks on how the case as to why so glum since now with 2 sources, even with one dead, Dom can now be cleared. to which bilkins disappointedly proceeds to tell brian that there are a couple of problems.

1. the evidence was only hearsay and circumstancial.
2. that there must have been a leak that Letty was kidnapped from the hospital leaving a note to agent

O’Connor telling him to bring toretto to an undisclosed location.

cut to Dom in interrogation/holding room.

Bilkins and O’Connor enter to find a disgruntled, suspicious Dom asking “what now?” at which time Brian

proceeds to tell him that Letty is still alive.. to which Dom finds a comfort and happiness in yet is

still noticably concered and attempts to take the blaim for “whatever trouble she is in” that it was all him not her. Brian tries to calm Dom at which point Bilking chimes in exclaiming “she talked ya know” informing Toretto that they must know exactly what happened in LA in order to help. Dom, desparately informs them that he cant say anyting or they will… kill Mia. to which brian tells Dom… they already have taken Letty from the hospital.

Dom shouts and slams the table in a saddened rage. as Bilkins tries to assure him that they have men on

it and that the best way to help her now would be to help them prove it was the Trans and in doing so

clear his name along with the members of his former crew.

Dom begins to speak…

*Cut to flashback of race wars in 1st film.
Jesse races Tran for pinks… loses and runs
Tran and Dom get into argument, Dom punches, then beats the crap out of Tran. Tran grins.

*new revealing footage*
Shortly after the fight, dom receives a call.. Tran… concerned of the heat form the FBI.. Tran

blackmails Dom into doing their dirty work in exchange for not going after Jesse.

*cut from flashback back to Dom.
Dom explains.. “what was i supposed to do? i tried to do what he wanted but failed… and then they killed Jesse before i could get to him.”

*OPEN SCRIPT HERE TO FILL IN PLOT AND STORYLINE*
TRANS=VINGEFUL BAD GUYS/KIDNAP LETTY AS BAIT FOR DOM TO TIE OFF POSSIBLE LOSE ENDS

BILKINS GIVES BRIAN AND DOM THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK TOGETHER TO HELP BRING DOWN THE TRANS

POSSIBILITY THAT DOM CALLS IN HELP FROM HAN AND BRIAN CALLS IN ROMAN ALONG WITH POSIBILITY OF A FEW CAMEO/SUPPORTING ROLLS FROM PERSONALITIES OF THE PREVIOUS FILMS.

EVENTUALLY BAD GUYS ARE BEAT, LETTY SAVED, AND NAMES CLEARED

heres my 2 cents, i would like to see 5 pick up at a place prior to tokyo drift where bri and dom meet up with han, han was a cool shit, however if dom just broke out of a prison bus with the help of bri and the others the heat is on and they aint gonna get on a plane to tokyo anytime soon, they are gonna head south, but since mexico was in the last one lets go ahead with south america, and i would prefer to not see the whole repeated concept of brian taking down a drug lord. id like to see it more about the cars and the racing like in FF1 and tokyo drift, perhaps follow a storyline that theyre all hiding out in s am. in the underground racing circuit. and have an arch nemisis like DK was in tokyo drift. just something that does not have anything to do with drug trafficing. its been done to death. as far as casting lets have brian and mia coupled up, Dom and a new love interest that shows up.. im thinking jessica alba perhaps. i like han but hes in tokyo so lets leave him there, I could stand to see Rome come back, but another option would be to bring vincent back from the first one and have the friction between him and brian like in the first one

I drive from Riverside county, CA to Lake Havasu City, AZ every weekend and on a remote stretch of Highway 62 near Vidal Junction, there is a large movie set featuring passenger trains,some sort of military type offroad vehicles and a lone Ford GT that I could see. On one weekend, traffic was stopped due to the train blocking the road and I inquired as to what was going on. The flagman said they were filming scences for Fast and Furious 5. Ok folks here we go. ONE they brought han back because this film was to take place before tokyo drift, he clearly says “I heard they’re doing some crazy s*** in tokyo”. TWO If they wanted leon and vince to play a role in five they would have brought them back in four. Remember vince and dom grew up together. so there for they probably will be having the guy from tokyo drift back for sure. Han is dead… letty is dead… but the question is… why is Dom in Tokyo at the end of tokyo drift?? i think that 5 will fill that in for sure… i mean obviously letty died, but… well who knows..

Alright. I think that at the end of the fourth film when Brian and Mia bust Dom out of the prison bus, they take off to Asia in search of Han, considering he said and qoute “I hear they’re doing some crazy shit in Tokyo”. And if you remember in 06′ when they released the Fast and the Furious game, they included Brian in it as well. I think Brian and Dom end up too late, then realize Hon is dead. Dom test his driving skills against Sean at a drift competition. Which will include Lucas Black to return to the 5th plot along with Paul and Vin. I think they run into trouble with DK, and my thought is in the first one, didn’t Brian and Dom get introuble with the Yakuza? So maybe the gang from the first and DK and his uncle are working together. Things heat up in Tokyo and they head to Brazil where they find Roman(Tyrese Gibson) and he gets introduced to Dom. Things heat up and shit blows up. And I know one thing… DK wont put his hands on Dom like he did Sean because Dom would beat his little Asian ass. But thats my guess.

Well guys check this out.. Hons died in Tokyo Drift and came back in the forth movie…so there would technically be no problem in bringing Rodriguez back into the picture…but who knows what’s gonna happen…I do know Luda is gonna be in this one!

they are gonna have corvettes racing and crashing in this one! On our way out to our vacation home, we saw them set up on the side of the road. Have been there for weeks. Stopped and asked if my little kiddos can use their potties (cuz its literally in the middle of nowhere) and they allowed us to! We got talking to the staff and they told us that they were taping all the racing scenes there, but no stars would be on set….too HOT for them. I guess they don’t like 120 degree weather!

people who think han came back from the dead are wrong the movies have a specific order.. if you watch fast and furious han says”i hear their doing some crazy sh*t in japan” which means that fast and furious is supposed to come before tokyo drift holy crap.

THE FAST FIVE IS… Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Ludacris(from 2fast2furious), Rome(tyrese-from 2fast2furious), and Dwayne “the rock” Johnson(as a bounty hunter looking for vin and Paul) – which I think is stupid..i don’t know if the rock is counted as one of the FAST FIVE but his name was listed on a website i was just at.

Please dear God bring back Letty. I think by not seeing her body in F&F it left the door open to bring her back without making it a soap opera. It is completely plausible that she was taken into custody either for her protection or so the FBI or whoever could use her for something else. And her funeral would have been a perfect excuse for the latter of those options as they knew it would bring Dom back if for nothing else then revenge.
Though I would love for her to be central to the movie I could see (if for at least keeping her appearance a secret for those spoilers out there who would see her on set – though the excuse while shooting could be ‘flashbacks’) The Rock’s cop character saying (after I am assuming he either catches them or decides to make a deal with them) that he has some info they want – ie Letty is alive – and he can either get her out or tell them how to get her in exchange for whatever it is he needs/wants.

for all the people saying give dom a new gf… that would kill the story.. he spent the entire 4th movie hell bent on revenge for that girl.. she was the love of his life and knew her almost his whole life.. replacing her with a new girl would basically be saying dom didnt care about letty… they need to not focus on romance but focus more on the cars and getting i right for once damnit… like 98 240 with an illegal mod… brian drive up… its a fucking s15.. those were never sold state side and they were never made in 98 damnit… the sti flipping at the end of the movie… where the fuck was the gas tank or drive shaft or rear diff? seriously man come on… and enough with the computer animated stunts… explosions i can understand.. but computerizing the cars so they can drive under gas tanks or fly onto boats or off bridges… keep it real like in the first one….

oooh and one last thing… in whatever race scene u guys do… do me 2 huge favors… dont make doms car pop up again… hes running street tires not slicks… hell he isnt even running street radials.. they are basically stock tires with z rated grip lol… and the 2nd thing… can we limit the shifting to 6 gears… every movie they seem to be shifting up about 30 times a race… its very annoying… thank u and sorry for the loooooon rant

How is it that Han will be in this one, didn’t we see him get blown up in Tokyo Drift? I really like him but how is he going to be in the new movie if he was blown up in three. I uderstand why he was in the last one for a short bit because that just firms up what Dom said at the end of Tokyo Drift that he new Han, because obviously part of 4 took place before and during the third movie. Because Han says to Dom in 4 that he has heard that they are doing some crazy s**t in Tokyo. I really like Han and I am glad that he will be in the movie I just don’t understand how. Just like the people that want Letti back, it goes along those same lines with Han.

ok people…first of all…the real secuence in the F&F movies is the fast and the furious”first movie”,fast and furious”fourth movie”,2 fast 2 furious”second movie”,fast five “fith movie” and tokio drift “third movie” thats the real secuence,it makes sence because remember in the fast and the furious “first movie” brian helped torreto scape in San francisco Cal. and in fast and furious”fourth movie” brian helped torreto scaping and they where in L.A and in 2 fast 2 furious when the black old agent starts saying brian’s charges he says”here is the list of the things u did in L.A” L.A people not san francisco thats why i came to that conclusion and thats why in the 2 fast 2 furious DVD movie theres that excluded scene where brians escapes and get to miami thats why that scenes never were in the 2 fast 2 furious in the movie because they did not know the movies where going to be this way so in the beggining it was the “2cond” movie but then it turned into the third movie thank u im a hudge fan heheh so i searched for this info so there u have it people:) and by the way letty wont be in fast five because she DID die and if she didnt brian wouldnt have told dom im sorry in the movie …sooo !!
