Amy Winehouse

We only said goodbye with words, indeed. Amy Winehouse, such a talented woman with such a powerful voice is no longer with us, but her extraordinary life (and death as well) could be made into a huge Hollywood movie.

Unfortunately, we’re not here to talk about the facts, because this project still has no director, there’s still no screenplay and everything is still in early stages, but – we’re definitely interested!

So, according to the latest reports, this project will be based on Daphne Barak‘s book titled Saving Amy.

Barak, a celebrity journalist also made a documentary of the same name for Channel 4. They also add it centers on Barak’s friendship with Amy and how she accompanied her to St Lucia and kept an eye on her while she was ‘resting’ at various hospitals in England.

At this moment we also have a rumor that Tessa Ross, one of the executive producers of The Iron Lady project, is in discussions with International Creative Management’s Jeff Berg about creating a movie based on life of the late singer.

Let us remind you that Amy Winehouse was found dead in her north London home in July aged 27.

As I said, we’ll definitely keep an eye on the whole thing and in the meantime let me ask you -who should play Amy? Share your thoughts with us, and stay tuned!
