“Transporter 3″ Reviews
The “Transporter” series turned Brit actor Jason Statham into a movie star.
But maybe it’s time to hang up his car keys. He’s better than this.
“Transporter 3″ once again finds Statham playing Frank Martin, a driver for hire known throughout the underworld for always completing his job.
This time Frank finds himself kidnapped by a sinister American (Robert Knepper) and forced to tour Europe with an exploding bracelet around his wrist. If he strays too far from his car he’ll blow up… full story [kansascity.com]
If there’s anything good to be said for Transporter 3 it’s that at least, for once, Jason Statham’s Frank Martin character is actually transporting something. In practice, previous movies have rarely given Frank much opportunity to do any actual driving, inventing kidnappings and other excuses for him to get out of the car and kick doors down. For the third film they’ve solved that problem by, almost literally, tying Frank Martin to wheel of his car… full story [Cinema Blend] Read the rest of this entry

Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman hit the red carpet in New York for the premiere of their epic movie “Australia” on Monday, November 24.
Kidman, 41, looked glamourous in a sequinned gold and black dress when she arrived with her husband, country singer Keith Urban, also 41. But she was booed by waiting crowds when she shunned interviews and instead rushed inside the Ziegfeld Theatre.
Joining Jackman and Kidman on the red carpet were director Baz Luhrmann and co-producer Catherine Martin. Aside from them, other celebrity guests, like Kelsey Grammer, Olivia Newton-John, Lauren Bacall, Alicia Witt, Deborra-Lee Furness, Helena Christensen, and many others, have also been spotted attending the special event.

Star Trek TV Spot #1
Paramount Pictures released first TV spot for the upcoming J.J. Abrams‘ “Star Trek” film.
It is being reporting that the upcoming film will be shown not only in conventional theaters, but also IMAX. The movie was not shot with IMAX cameras, but will instead be converted to 70mm for the extra large screens.
To me, it’s shocking that there are actually people out there who still haven’t been won over by the IMAX format. Presumably these are people who live in an area where there simply isn’t a theater, or who have stubbornly refused to visit one. This isn’t exactly a new innovation. You and I know better. Be in the IMAX seat next to me for Star Trek on May 8th of next year.
Star Trek stars John Cho, Ben Cross, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Winona Ryder, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, Eric Bana and Leonard Nimoy. Read the rest of this entry
