BATTLESHIP Super Bowl TV Spot
You can’t blame them for trying. That’s my description of this Super Bowl spot for the upcoming Battleship movie, but I guess that Rihanna‘s fans will be interested to check out her sea adventures, so here we are.
On the other hand, this movie stars some great names like Liam Neeson for example, or even Taylor Kitsch, but…I’m still not fascinated enough with the whole thing. The special effects part looks great, though…
Based on Hasbro’s classic naval combat game, Battleship stars Taylor Kitsch as Hopper, a Naval officer assigned to the USS John Paul Jones; Brooklyn Decker as Sam, a physical therapist and Hopper’s fiancée; Alexander Skarsgard as Hopper’s older brother, Commanding Officer Stone of the USS Samson; Rihanna as Lt. Raikes, Hopper’s crewmate and a weapons specialist on the USS John Paul Jones; and Liam Neeson as Hopper and Stone’s superior (and Sam’s father), Admiral Shane.
Battleship comes from director Peter Berg and is set to open on May 18th, 2012.
