Of course, if you’re Brad Pitt‘s fans, you’re going to love this one. If not – better skip it, because Pitt is actually “a macho asshole” that he already revealed he would be.
And yes, we already wrote about this movie, but it’s always good time to remind you that:
The Tree of Life is the impressionistic story of a Midwestern family in the 1950’s. The film follows the life journey of the eldest son, Jack, through the innocence of childhood to his disillusioned adult years as he tries to reconcile a complicated relationship with his father (Brad Pitt).

Gus Van Sant’s Restless New Images
Gus Van Sant‘s upcoming Restless is definitely one of those projects that we just love to write about. Especially when we have new images from this teen drama to share with you.
The movie follows Annabel and Enoch’s complex and moving journey together as it culminates in their acceptance of themselves. The relationships they share with their friends, families and each other teach them their greatest lessons of all – that every end begets its own kind of rebirth, and love is deathless.

We’re here to have a little chat about an upcoming Japanese film directed by Naomi Kawase, titled Hanezu No Tsuki, and the project that is scheduled to premiere In Competition at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Hanezu No Tsuki is based on a novel by Masako Bando, and we definitely think that it deserves your full attention.
Here’s a little description: “The Asuka region is the birthplace of Japan. Here, in ancient times, there were those who fulfilled their lives in the midst of waiting. Modern people, apparently having lost this sense of waiting, seem unable to feel grateful for the present, and cling to the illusion that all things will move constantly forward according to one’s own plan.
