“Wolverine” – Australian On Set Photos
Here are the photos of “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” on the set (Blacksmiths Beach, Newcastle, NSW, Australia [Flickr1, Flickr2] which show us that they are shooting war scene. Scenes are obviously takes place during the Second World War.
Leading up to the events of “X-Men,” the new spin-off movie tells the story of Wolverine’s epically violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the ominous Weapon X program. Along the way, Wolverine encounters many mutants, both familiar and new, including surprise appearances by several legends of the X-Men universe.
“X-Men Origins: Wolverine” is scheduled to hit theaters on May 1st, 2009.
Brand New “Babylon A.D.” Trailer
The first full lenght trailer for “Babylon A.D.” staring Vin Diesel has been released featuring the famous “Requiem for a Dream” music, entitled “Lux Aeterna.”
Vin Diesel stars as a veteran-turned-mercenary (Thoorop). He is hired to deliver a package from the ravages of post-apocalyptic Eastern Europe.The “package” is a mysterious young woman with a secret, she is host to an organism that a cult wants to harvest in order to produce a genetically modified Messiah.
“Babylon A.D.” directed by Mathieu Kassovitz (”Gothika“, “Munich“) is scheduled to hit theaters on August.

“The Wackness” Trailer #2 and Movie Photos
A brand new trailer for the upcoming Ben Kingsley film “The Wackness” has been released.
I
t’s the summer of 1994, and the streets of New York are pulsing with hip hop and wafting with the aroma of marijuana. The newly-inaugurated mayor, Rudolph Giuliani, is only beginning to implement his initiatives against crimes such as noisy portable radio, graffiti and public drunkenness.
“The Wackness” centers upon a troubled high school student named Luke Shapiro (Josh Peck)-a teenage marijuana dealer who forms a friendship with Dr. Jeffrey Squires (Ben Kingsley), a psychiatrist and kindred lost soul. When the doctor proposes Luke trade him marijuana for therapy sessions, the two begin to explore both New York City and their own depression.
“The Wackness” is written and directed by Jonathan Levine, who is also the man behind “All the Boys Love Mandy Lane.” His new movie has already appeared at the Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award and was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize. You can catch it in theaters on July 3rd, in limited release.

”Knowing” – First Photo and Full Synopsis
We previously wrote about Alex Proyas‘ new movie ”Knowing”.
Today we have the first photo of Nicolas Cage in ”Knowing” and full synopsis.
In 1958, as part of the dedication ceremony for a new elementary school, a group of students is asked to draw pictures to be stored in a time capsule. But one of the students, a mysterious girl who seems to hear whispered voices, fills her sheet of paper with rows of apparently random numbers instead.
Fast forward 50 years to the present: A new generation of students examines the contents of the time capsule and the girl’s cryptic message ends up in the hands of young Caleb Myles. But it is Caleb’s father, professor Ted Myles (Nicolas Cage), who makes the startling discovery that the encoded message predicts with pinpoint accuracy the dates, death tolls and coordinates of every major disaster of the past 50 years. As Ted further unravels the document’s secrets, he realizes it foretells three additional events—the last of which hints at destruction on a global scale and seems to somehow involve Ted and his son.
“Bigger, Stronger, Faster*”
Christopher Bell, the creator of “‘Bigger, Stronger, Faster“, is part of a family which grew up on steroids. The filmmaker, who considered steroid use as being cheating, has seen his brothers taking the anabolic drug and then surpassing his physical capacities without anything bad happening to them.
It was this kind of dilemmas that made Bell shoot a documentary that explores steroid use in America.
For the filmmaker, shooting the documentary was more that making a film, it was exploring his inner self as well as an attempt to find the answers to the questions that have obsessed him while growing up.
The most beautiful thing about the picture is that it does not deliver any conclusions. It only asks the viewer to take a little time and decide for himself on which side he stands: for or against anabolic steroids.
One of the most powerful scenes of the documentary is the one in which a body builder says that “steroids are as American as apple pie.” This idea, uttered by another person, comes to stress the tagline of the movie, which is ‘the side effects of being American.’
”The Proposal” – Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds On the Set
In ”The Proposal” directed by Anne Fletcher, Sandra Bullock stars as a Canadian immigrant who creates a difficult and complicated work environment for her subordinates at the office.
When the news arrives that she’s about to be deported back to her homeland, she rushes into a marriage of convenience with her young assistant, Ryan Reynolds to prevent such a calamity from taking place.
”Angels and Demons” – On The Set Photos
Production has started on Ron Howard’s second installment of the Dan Brown series, ”Angels and Demons.”
Based on Dan Brown’s novel “Angels & Demons,” published in 2000, the movie follows Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon to analyze a mysterious symbol seared into the chest of a murdered physicist.
Langdon (Tom Hanks) tries to solve a murder and unravel a plot by an ancient group, the Illuminati, to blow up the Vatican during a papal conclave.
“The Da Vinci Code” was Dan Brown’s second novel centering on Robert Langdon, a Harvard professor who’s an expert in religious symbols.
”Angels and Demons” will hit theaters May 15, 2009.
