Salma Hayek Is A Bearded Freak
The movie is about two best friends who encounter a vampire and a deadly spider while visiting an illegal freak show. They’re forced to make tough choices, and end up as vampire servants themselves. Josh Hutcherson and Chris Kelly play the two best friends and Reilly will play a vampire.When I first stumbled on this story, I was kind of hoping Salma would end up playing some sort of sexy vampiress, or even the deadly spider, but Variety says she’ll play the bearded lady… a part which she’s played before, most notably in the 2002 movie Frida. Wait, that was just a mustache.
Still, you might think it impossible to make Salma Hayek ugly, but even she can’t make excessive hair on a woman sexy. Frida left me impotent for at least a week, and that was just upper lip hair. I may not be able to handle a full beard.

Stallone talks Death Wish
I bought one of those talking ‘Rocky’ key-chains this week – you know, it says things like “Hey, I’m Rocky Balboa – the Italian Stallion’ – and the wife loves it…. About as much as she does hand-washing my ratty undies each week.
But I digress, the man behind the key-chain, Sly Stallone, has buried Rocky and will next…. Bury the fuckers that hurt his family. Yep, he’s stepping into Charles Bronson’s shoes for an unnecessary “Death Wish” remake.
On the eve of the “Rambo” release, the muscle man told our friends at IGN Movies a bit about that next film – and how it’ll differ from the original.
“I think Death Wish, if it were done today, would be volcanic,” Stallone said. “The idea of Jeff Goldblum being a mugger who breaks into an apartment is very simplistic. It gives you an idea how bad the elevation of violence has become. I would focus on defense attorneys, I would focus on [the people] allowing this crap to happen — not so much the guy on the street. It’s like, ‘Who permits it?’
“What if it happened to you, that your daughter was grabbed and her eyes were put out? Would you want to sit there and defend that guy?

Bale Joins Depp In ‘Public Enemy’
I think the phrase we’re looking for here is “huminahuminahumina”, as it’s been announced that Christian Bale is in talks to join Johnny Depp in Michael Mann’s Public Enemies. This is exciting for several reasons, not least of which is the fact that we’ll finally get to judge who has the sharpest cheekbones between the two of them without having to set up two widescreen TVs next to each other. Not that we’ve done that ever. Ahem.
The film’s the story of legendary bank robbery John Dillinger (Depp) and the huge FBI hunt for him, led by Agent Melvin Purvis, who Bale is set to play. So it’s very much home turf for Mann, even though in this case the 1930s setting takes this a little way away from his usual stomping ground.
The film apparently already has a locked script, as it’s due to start shooting in March. And no, there’s no word yet on whether it will make reference to the most famous legend about Dillinger, the one that survived long after his criminal exploits had been forgotten, the one that the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC still gets calls about every year - that he was, um, endowed to the tune of over 15 inches. It’s an urban myth anyway, people, so don’t go expecting a Dirk Diggler like finale.

Tom’s mad for Katie but Katie’s mad for money!
The occasion was of upcoming film’s ‘Mad Money’ premiere at Mann Village Theater in Westwood, California. Katie Holmes was seen walking in with hubby Tom Cruise. Donned in a gorgeous strapless Armani gown she looked stunningly beautiful as she gave smiles to others present there.
Tom and Katie look great with each other and make a perfect match but recent swell on Tom’s cheeks are clear indication that now it is high time for him to kick off for some workout in gym!

Now the ‘Circque du Freak’ will, er, Walk Hard!
Salma Hayek will join funny man John C.Reilly in the horror-drama “Cirque du Freak”.
Paul Weitz (“American Pie”) is directing the film, which is based on the bestselling 12-book children’s series by Darren Shan, saysVariety.
Reilly will play a vampire who drafts a 14-year-old to serve as his assistant. The youth is turned into a half-vampire and becomes the catalyst in a battle between vampires and the rival Vampanese. Hayek will play Madame Truska, the bearded lady.
