Hailee Steinfeld to Tell You WHY WE BROKE UP
I am not speaking on behalf of Romeo Montague, I’m just teasing you a bit. The eponymous heroine in upcoming Carlo Carlei’s Romeo and Juliet reboot (set to arrive on February 14th, 2013), Hailee Steinfeld is in final negotiations to join Fox’s comedy Why We Broke Up.

If you ask anyone even a bit familiar with contemporary American literature what the great american novel is, you are 100% sure to hear the name The Great Gatsby. Probably unanimously. This Frank Scott Fitzgerald‘s masterpiece, first published in 1924, ingeniously captured the spirit of the country in the ’20s, as well as the timeless bliss and tragedy of the American Dream.
Thus it will not be an exaggeration to say that this new adaptation (or remake, if you will) by Australian director Baz Luhrmann has a lot to live up to. To remind you, the 1974′s movie had Robert Redford, Mia Farrow and Bruce Dern as stars, and the movie has reached the ‘anthology status’.

The sequel to the 2005′s Sin City that we have awaited for too long finally gets a release date: October 4th, 2013. Titled Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, it will have both Jessica Alba and Mickey Rourke returning for their roles of Marn and Nancy Callahan, respectively.
Robert Rodriguez directed the 2005 film, adapting three story arcs from Frank Miller‘s graphic novel series, while Miller himself was included in writing and directing. The film was all A-listers, like Bruce Willis, Clive Owen, Elijah Wood, Rosario Dawson, Michael Madsen and Josh Hartnet, intertwining The Hard Goodbye, The Big Fat Kill and That Yellow Bastard arcs into one.

This isn’t a ‘goodfella,’ this is a ‘badfella’ – the project in question is an adaptation of the 1990 film Goodfellas based on spin-off novel called Badfellas.
In addition, Luc Besson film based on a French novel by Tonino Benacquista has cast Robert De Niro who also starred in Martin Scorcese’s masterpiece.
Steve McQueen’s TWELVE YEARS A SLAVE Adds Paul Dano
Paul Dano has become the latest actor to join Steve McQueen‘s Shame follow-up Twelve Years a Slave. Another movie about slavery (Django Unchained) already has a stellar cast that includes Chiwetel Ejiofor who plays the lead character, Michael Fassbender and Brad Pitt.
Twelve Years a Slave is based on the true accounts of Solomon Northup’s novel by the same name, originally published in 1853.
