Denzel Washington Joins Mark Wahlberg in 2 GUNS

This could be interesting. Denzel Washington is apparently in talks to join previously announced Mark Wahlberg for the upcoming action thriller 2 Guns.

Baltasar Kormakur will direct this project from a screenplay written by Blake Masters, and we’re actually talking about an adaptation of the graphic novel of the same name written by Steven Grant.

What we know about 2 Guns at this moment is that the movie will center on an agent and an intelligence officer who are both unknowingly investigating each other while they are both stealing money from gangs.

Universal will distribute the project domestically, and producers Marc Platt, Andrew Cosby, and Ross Richie will be in charge for international distribution and co-financing at the Berlin Film Festival.

So, Wahlberg and Washington in 2 Guns, any thoughts?
