The first shot of Justin Chatwin as Goku and Emmy Rossum as Bulma from the upcoming “Dragonball” movie has appeared online. The picture is a scan from a Japanese magazine DBTheMovie
Dragonball is adapted from the manga created by Akira Toriyama; the work was also turned into a Japanese anime series that played all over the world. It tells the story of an alien sent to destroy Earth, who has a change of heart and decides to join the humans in their fight against various aliens and bad guys.
In addition to Chatwin and Rossum, the film also stars Chow Yun-Fat as Roshi and James Marsters as the nefarious Piccolo. “Dragonball” hits theaters on April 3rd, 2009.
Whoaaaa Chatwin looks alwsome!! I can’t wait to see Dragonball. He looks like Goku all the way!!
This is the first time I’ve read about Dragonball the Movie! And it’s the best news I’ve heard in years!!! I believe thousands (or millions?) of Dragonball fans like me shall be thrilled! Goku in flesh & blood! Really, really cool! If this movie becomes a hit (I’m sure it will), then it could be another big movie franchise with Dragonball Z, Dragonball GT! Ka..me..ha..me..haa!
