Emir Kusturica Announced Programme of the 5th Kustendorf Festival

If you’re in the mood for even more festivals, let’s take a little trip to Serbia and announce that the 5th International Küstendorf Film and Music Festival will take place from January 17-23, 2012 in Drvengrad, Mokra Gora.

Of course this sounds familiar to you because it’s a young but interesting festival initiated by Emir Kusturica and whoever wins – takes home an egg. Well, at least something…

When it comes to the Competition Programme 20 films will compete for Golden, Silver and Bronze egg awards. Check them out:

Iranian actress Leila Hatami, French producer Pierre Edelman and Serbian actor/producer Zoran Cvijanovic will team up to select and award the best films.

Among the expected stars, let’s mention Benicio del Toro, Isabelle Huppert, Asgar Farhadi and the Dardenne brothers.

Sounds fun, we’ll keep an eye on their little festival!
