It’s not actually something you’d expect to see from a guy like Joel Edgerton but that just adds more fun into the whole thing.

Wish You Were Here is a movie that comes from actor and director Kieran Darcy-Smith, and today we’re here to share the first trailer for this Aussie thriller. Make sure you check it out – it definitely deserves your attention!

Intense, romantic and dramatic. That’s probably the best description of this project.

At first look we have pretty simple plot – four friends lose themselves in the fun of a carefree South East Asian holiday. But, only three return home.

Who amongst them knows what happened on that fateful night when they were dancing under a full moon in Cambodia? I have no idea, but I’ll be happy to find that out!

Wish You Were Here is set to premiere on opening night at the Sundance Film Festival on January 19th, 2012, in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition.

Beside Edgerton, movie co-stars Teresa Palmer, Felicity Price and Antony Starr.
