THE IMMIGRANT International Trailer

The Marion Cotillard starrer premiered earlier in the year at Cannes followed by its North American debut at the NYFF to generally positive reviews

The Immigrant The Weinstein Company’s VOD shingle Radius-TWC has released first international trailer for James Gray’s period epic The Immigrant that looks promising. The Marion Cotillard starrer premiered earlier in the year at Cannes Film Festival followed by its North American debut at the New York Film Festival to generally positive reviews. Aside from a few festival presentations, the lengthy historical drama remains largely unseen. Ahead of film’s release on November 27th in France, the first-ever trailer has now landed for the film, co-starring Joaquin Phoenix and Jeremy Renner in a love triangle of sorts, as Phoenix ‘helps’ Cotillard as she immigrates to New York City in the ’20s, then gets her into prostitution, while Renner plays Phoenix’s cousin, and the man who could set her free. However, the real star of this trailer is Darius Khondji‘s (Delicatessen) lush emerald and gold, mood-catching cinematography that gives off the vibe of dream-like situations. The Weinsteins will release it in the US, likely next year. Watch this slightly NSFW trailer for the rich and handsome drama The Immigrant. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaYh0G1N-NU Synopsis:
