Jim CaviezelTransit is the title of the upcoming Antonio Negret‘s movie that already includes some interesting cast: Elisabeth Röhm, Harold Perrineau, Diora Baird and James Frain.

Today, we’re here to update the whole thing by adding Jim Caviezel to that list as well!

Transit is a story written by “According to Greta” writer Michael Gilvary, and will focus on a group of a “…thieves on the run from a bank robbery come across a suburban family on its way to a camping trip.

When the criminals stash their stolen money in the family’s SUV at a rest stop, the road trippers, with Caviezel as the protective father, unwittingly draw the murderous band of outlaws on their trail.”

So, like we mentioned, Caviezel will play the father of the family unwittingly caught up with the robbers while James Frain has also been cast as a member of the gang of robbers (together with Perrineau and Baird). On the other hand, Elisabeth Rohm will play Caviezel’s wife.

Caviezel starred in Frequency, Outlander, The Count of Monte Cristo and The Passion of the Christ and had the title role in AMC’s miniseries The Prisoner.

Frain most recently appeared in Everybody’s Fine and will next be seen in Tron: Legacy and Water for Elephants.
