Resident Evil: Retribution star Li Bingbing has been announced as the first of many Chinese stars that will join Mark Wahlberg in action-packed Transformers 4.
Michael Bay’s fourth entry to his Transformers franchise also stars Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer and Sophia Myles.
The plot of the sequel is still kept top secret, but Bay has also teased that the new film will feature a ‘chase from hell’.
A fourth Transformers film is set to be released on June 27th, 2014.
The robot-themed tale starts production in July, working from a script by Ehren Kruger and is said to be darker than previous, Transformers: Dark of the Moon and will be shot using smaller digital IMAX 3D cameras.
