Lisa Kudrow is officially on board for the third season of ABC’s drama Scandal. Political drama needs another politician, and that’s basically all we know about Kudrow’s involvement in the whole thing.
Still, the good thing is that this project reunites the Friends star with her Emmy-nominated producing partner Dan Bucatinsky, with whom she exec produces “Web Therapy” and “Who Do You Think You Are?” so, what could possibly go wrong?
So, just like Scott Foley, who was promoted to series regular Capt. Jake Ballard for season three, Kudrow jumps in to play a brand new politician, but who exactly – we have no idea. They’re still pretty mysterious about her role: no name, no political ties, nothing.
Anyway, until something new arrives, let us just remind you that Scandal, created by Shonda Rhimes, debuted on ABC in April 2012, revolves around Kerry Washington’s character Olivia Pope who dedicates her life to protecting the public images of the nation’s elite and making sure their secrets never get out.
Let us know what you think about this news, and don’t forget – Scandal returns October 3rd, 2013 on ABC at 10 p.m.
With every new update – we’ll be back, so make sure you stay tuned!
