Matthew Vaughn

It’s official guys – Matthew Vaughn is now on board to direct X-Men: First Class sequel!

I’m sure we’re all interested in more details about the whole thing, especially now when Vaughn is confirmed but at this moment we’re here to share just the official stuff. So, step by step, please.

According to the latest reports, X-Men: The Last Stand scribe, Simon Kinberg, will be back for this new sequel, while Bryan Singer comes back as the producer.

As we already mentioned, still nothing about the possible plot, but I’m sure you all remember what Vaughn previously revealed:

“I thought it would be fun to open with the Kennedy assassination, and we reveal that the magic bullet was controlled by Magneto. That would explain the physics of it, and we see that he’s pissed off because Kennedy took all the credit for saving the world and mutants weren’t even mentioned.”

It definitely sounds interesting and as usual we’ll keep an eye on this project.

Make sure you stay tuned!
