New Predators Featurette: Isabelle and Photos
20th Century Fox has released new featurette and the first official image from Predators, the Robert Rodriguez-written and produced straight sequel to John McTiernan’s 1987 original.
Rodriguez introduces the character, Isabelle, played by Alice Braga in a brand new Predators featurette. He describes her as a CIA black ops assassin. She’s the group’s ultra-deadly sniper and you’ve gotta think that means trouble for their predator assailants, assuming she can spot them through her scope.
Royce (Adrien Brody), a mercenary who reluctantly leads a group of elite warriors who come to realize they’ve been brought together on an alien planet… as prey. With the exception of a disgraced physician, they are all cold-blooded killers mercenaries, Yakuza, convicts, death squad members human “predators” that are now being systemically hunted and eliminated by a new breed of alien Predators.
Predators also stars Topher Grace, Laurence Fishburne, Alice Braga, Laurence Fishburne, Walton Goggins, Danny Trejo, Oleg Taktarov and Mahershalalhashbaz Ali. It is directed by Nimrod Antal (Armored, Vacancy).
Predators is scheduled to hit theaters on July 7th, 2010.
