New THE AVENGERS Super Bowl TV Spot

This really looks great and I’m sure you’re going to check out the new extended trailer for The Avengers which premiered at the Super Bowl.

As you’ll see – they’re all here! Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson, or, if you prefer – the superhero team of a lifetime!

We already wrote so much about the whole thing, but I’m sure you won’t mind if I remind you that Joss Whedon’s movie will center on Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as SHIELD, who finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.

The Avengers will open on May 4th, 2012.
