A new poster for the upcoming ‘Journey to the Center of the Earth‘ has been released.

The story revolves around a scientist (Brendan Fraser), his nephew (Josh Hutcherson) and their mountain guide (Anita Briem), who discover a fantastic and dangerous lost world in the center of the earth.

The new film marks the first live-action production to be projected on Real D’s digital 3-D screens.

Steven Spielberg’s long-awaited Abraham Lincoln project after Tintin

Steven Spielberg | Abraham LincolnSteven Spielberg‘s long-gestating project about US president Abraham Lincoln will be the director’s next project after the first live-action Tintin film which goes into production this September.Spielberg says he will begin shooting of the Lincoln biopic at the beginning of 2009 “so that it can also open in the same year as Lincoln’s 200th anniversary which comes round then.”

Originally, Spielberg had been planning Chicago Seven as his next project about the famous 1960s trial of the protestors at the 1968 Democratic convention in Chicago.

“Blindness” is narrated by Danny Glover, a late addition to the film, Fernando Meirelles said, because the director wanted to weave Saramago’s actual prose and reflections into the action, adapted from the novel to the screen by screenwriter Don McKellar.

Lindsay Lohan Fired ‘Manson Girls’ Movie

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly been fired from a forthcoming film about Charles Manson.

The actress was due to star in independent movie ‘The Manson Girls‘ – playing Nancy Pitman, one of the cult followers of the notorious Manson who was convicted of seven counts of murder in 1971 – but was dropped after other actors refused to work alongside her.

The 21-year-old actress signed up for the movie in March and was due to start shooting in Los Angeles in July.
