First Matt Damon’s “Green Zone” Poster
The first poster for the upcoming war film “Green Zone,” based on Rajiv Chandrasekaran’s nonfiction book “Imperial Life in the Emerald City: Inside Iraq’s Green Zone,” has been released.
“Green Zone” Plot: “During the U.S.-led occupation of Baghdad in 2003, Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller (Damon) and his team of Army inspectors were dispatched to find weapons of mass destruction believed to be stockpiled in the Iraqi desert. Rocketing from one booby-trapped and treacherous site to the next, the men search for deadly chemical agents but stumble instead upon an elaborate cover-up that inverts the purpose of their mission.
Spun by operatives with intersecting agendas, Miller must hunt through covert and faulty intelligence hidden on foreign soil for answers that will either clear a rogue regime or escalate a war in an unstable region. And at this blistering time and in this combustible place, he will find the most elusive weapon of all is the truth.”
The film is directed by Paul Greengass (Bourne Supremacy, United 93, Bourne Ultimatum). The script was written by Brian Helgeland (L.A. Confidential, Conspiracy Theory, Mystic River, Man on Fire).

Grant Heslov-directed dark comedy is based on the 2004 book of the same name by the Guardian columnist Jon Ronson – from the script written by Peter Straughan (”How to Lose Friends & Alienate People”) stars George Clooney, Ewan McGregor, Kevin Spacey, Jeff Bridges, Rebecca Mader and Terry Serpico.
New Disney’s “Princess and the Frog” Posters
Walt Disney Pictures has released two new posters for the upcoming “The Princess And The Frog,” showing the main characters from the movie.
“The Princess and the Frog” is set in the great city of New Orleans. That’s the story about a beautiful girl named Tiana (Anika Noni Rose), a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again, and a fateful kiss that leads them both on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana.
The movie also stars Bruno Campos, John Goodman, Peter Bartlett, Keith David, Jim Cummings, Jenifer Lewis, Jennifer Cody, Michael-Leon Wooley, Terrence Howard and Oprah Winfrey.
International Prince of Persia Trailer
Yesterday, the domestic trailer for “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” was released and now we have another one. This one is an international and shows more footage from the film.
In the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced video game adaptation, a rogue prince (Gyllenhaal) reluctantly joins forces with a mysterious princess (Arterton) and together, they race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time—a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.
Directed by Mike Newell (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire), the fantasy-action-adventure stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Kingsley, Gemma Arterton, Alfred Molina and Toby Kebbell.
DreamWorks Studios and Doubleday Acquire Rights to “Robopocalypse”
DreamWorks Studios and Doubleday have acquired, in a pre-emptive deal, the rights to Daniel H. Wilson’s unpublished manuscript, “Robopocalypse,” it was announced today by Mark Sourian and Holly Bario, Co-Presidents of Production at the studio, and Jason Kaufman, Executive Editor and Vice President, at Doubleday.
DreamWorks acquired the film rights from literary manager Justin Manask and is putting the project into accelerated development. Kaufman acquired world publishing rights to “Robopocalypse” from Laurie Fox at the Linda Chester Literary Agency and a tentative 2011 publication date has been set for the book.
“Robopocalypse” explores the fate of the human race following a robot uprising.

International “Salt” Trailer
The first Russian trailer for Angelina Jolie’s upcoming spy thriller, “Salt” has appeared online.
Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) is a CIA officer who swore an oath to duty, honor, and country. When she is accused by a defector of being a Russian sleeper spy, Salt goes on the run to clear her name and ultimately prove she is a patriot. Using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative, she must elude capture and protect her husband or the world’s most powerful forces will erase any trace of her existence.
The film, directed by Phillip Noyce (Catch a Fire)from script by Kurt Wimmer and Brian Helgeland, co-stars Liev Schreiber (Defiance, X-Men Origins: Wolverine) as Winter, her ally and supervisor in the CIA’s Russia office, and Chiwetel Ejiofor (Children of Men, American Gangster) as Peabody, a counterintelligence officer who tries to take her down.
