Peter Jackson’s The Lovely Bones Trailer Preview
Entertainment Tonight will premiere the first trailer for Peter Jackson‘s “The Lovely Bones” on Tuesday. But until then we have a sneak peek at footage from the film. Check it out below.
An adaptation of best-selling novel by Alice Sebold, the film centers on a young girl (Saoirse Ronan) who has been murdered and watches over her family – and her killer – from heaven. She must weigh her desire for vengeance against her desire for her family to heal.
Mark Wahlberg plays Susie’s father, Rachel Weisz her mother, Stanley Tucci the neighbor and Susan Sarandon the grandmother.
“The Lovely Bones” both directed and co-written by Jackson from the script by Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens is scheduled to be released on December 11, 2009.
