The Internship is an upcoming comedy which comes from director Shawn Levy and already has Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson and JoAnna Garcia on board.
But today we’re here to add another great name to this cast list, because lovely Rose Byrne, best known from titles like X-Men: First Class and Bridesmaids is in some serious negotiations to join the project as well!
The movie will tell us a story about two unemployed, 40-something guys who try to start new careers at the absolute bottom of the ladder at a Silicon Valley tech firm.
As you already guess, Vaughn and Wilson are on board to play those characters, while JoAnna Garcia will play Vaughn’s love interest. As for Byrne, if negotiations work out, she will jump in to play an upper management type who starts fishing off the company pier.
The Internship is written by Vaughn, and the 20th Century Fox film will be co-produced by Levy’s 21 Laps Entertainment and Vaughn’s Wild West Picture Show.
The movie starts shooting on July 9th, and as usual – with every new update on this one – we’ll be back!
