Rumors, rumors! We’re here to share the latest news about the upcoming rival projects, Relativity Media’s The Brothers Grimm: Snow White and Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman.
So there you go, Julia Roberts and Charlize Theron are rumored to be playing the Evil Queen in two new Snow White movies.
Julia Roberts will reportedly be connecting with her evil side in The Brothers Grimm: Snow White, while Charlize Theron is set to star as queen in Snow White and the Huntsmen.
Snow White and the Huntsman is housed at Universal with Joe Roth as producer, while Rupert Sanders is attached to direct.
Evan Daugherty’s screenplay gives the Huntsman an expanded role where he becomes chained to Snow White for part of the story and acts as a mentor figure, teaching the teen girl how to fight and survive.
On the other hand, The Brothers Grimm: Snow White is housed at Relativity Media, with Brett Ratner who will produce the Melisa Wallack script and Tarsem Singh has been offered the director’s chair. This version is intended to be in 3D.
At the end, let us mention that other casting rumors suggest that Michael Fassbender, Riley Keough, Felicity Jones, Bella Heathcote or Alicia Vikander may join Snow White and the Huntsman.
As usual, we’ll keep an eye on both of these projects, so make sure you stay tuned!
