Quantum of Solace Reviews
Shorter and more action packed, Quantum of Solace is a James Bond film for the new millennium. Unlike Brosnan’s swan song Die Another Day, the CGI is limited, and unlike Casino Royale the film doesn’t try to be too hip and trendy. From the pulsating opening car chase – you know that you are watching Bond, and like the older movies in the series you feel that it is the end of another adventure (it is) and not a piece of grandstanding from the second unit and stunt departments…full story [Screen Rant]

Daniel Craig Cautious About Future as James Bond 007
Speaking to Playboy magazine, actor Daniel Craig has revealed that despite the fact that he signed a contract for a total of four James Bond films, he is not sure that he will return for the third installment. Craig said that where he goes from here depends on “Quantum of Solace.”
“I did sign on for four so a piece of paper says there are two more to do,” he commented. “But let’s see how this one goes. In the film business, everything doesn’t always go according to plan. We’ll wait and see. If it goes wrong, we’ll have to rethink things.”
Re-reading Ian Fleming’s James Bond books made movie hunk Daniel Craig broody and miserable – and that was a good thing. The British stud, who first played 007 in Casino Royale, is back for more Bond in new film Quantum of Solace – and he wanted to portray the darker side of the suave superspy.
Craig recalled reading the books when he was younger and finding Bond a workaholic depressive – and that’s the character he wanted to channel in the latest adventure. Continue Reading…

Bond 22 Girl Found And First pre-production Pic!
The folk over Empire Online alerted us that St Trinian’s actress Gemma Arterton will be the next Bond girl for “Bond 22″
The site is not absolutely certain whether Arterton will be the main Bond girl, like Eva Green in Casino Royale, or one of the peripheral lovelies like Caterina Murino and that other one.
Also MI6 has posted the first images from UK pre-production of the 22nd James Bond film.
Is This the New Bond Title?
007 was never very good at keeping secrets seeing as how he’d almost always, no matter what his mission or cover was, announce himself as “Bond, James Bond.” So it’s fitting that the latest actor to play the iconic secret agent may have unwittingly revealed what the title of Bond 22 will be during a TV interview.
Ain’t It Cool News points out that Craig appeared on the U.K. television program This Morning where he was, naturally, asked about Bond 22, which begins filming next month. A scooper for the site who saw the show claims that, when asked about the sequel’s title, Craig revealed that since Casino Royale dealt with Bond attaining his 00 status the new film would chronicle his first actual mission as 007. Craig then strongly hinted that the title for the film could quite simply be 007.
AICN emphasized that this is just a rumor, but such a title would definitely be in keeping with the franchise’s new reboot approach.
In other big Bond news, several British newspapers — The Sun, The Guardian and The Daily Mail — report that British actress Gemma Arterton, 22, has been cast in the film’s coveted Bond Girl role. The papers attribute the news to MarieClaire.com, the official site of the popular women’s magazine, but a search of the site turned up no such report.
An alleged insider at EON Prods., the producers of the Bond series, advised the Daily Mail, “Gemma has the modern look and fits perfectly with the new vulnerable image of Bond.” Arterton reportedly sent her mother a text message saying, “I got Bond!”
