Hotel Transylvania sounds a little bit creepy, although they already describe this project as an upcoming Sony Pictures Animation’s 3D monster-themed family comedy.

Columbia Pictures has released the trailer for Tom Brady ‘s Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star. The comedy starring Nick Swardson, Christina Ricci, Don Johnson, and Stephen Dorff was written by Adam Sandler , Allen Covert and Swardson.
Bucky (Swardson) is a small town grocery bagger, going nowhere in life – until he discovers that his conservative parents were once adult film stars. Armed with the belief that he has found his destiny, Bucky packs up and heads out to LA, hoping to follow in his parents’ footsteps.

Vanilla Ice to Star In I Hate You, Dad?
Here’s an interesting (!?) casting news for today. Especially if you’re a Vanilla Ice fan (surprise?).
Apparently, Robert Van Winkle, or if you prefer Vanilla Ice, is in talks to star in the upcoming Columbia Pictures comedy titled I Hate You Dad, together with Adam Sandler.
On the other hand, Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester is also in talks to play Sandler’s future daughter-in-law. See, I told you that it’s an interesting cast.
Sean Anders and John Morris (Sex Drive) are directing I Hate You, Dad from a screenplay by David Wain and Ken Marino (Wanderlust), who rewrote David Caspe’s original script.
Helming Duo Eye Sandler-Samberg Comedy I Hate You Dad
According to Variety, Sean Anders and John Morris are in talks to co-direct the looming Adam Sandler’s medium I Hate You Dad.
Sean Anders and John Morris, two of the strongest comedy writers in Hollywood, are exactly in talks with Columbia Pictures to set a comedy that Sandler’s Happy Madison banner is producing. Columbia initially picked up the project in August 2008 but was still in the development stages.
It’s the directorial debut for Morris, while Anders previously helmed Sex Drive, which the duo also scribed. Besides, Anders and Morris wrote She’s Out of My League for Paramount and Hot Tub Time Machine for MGM. The duo most recently penned Mr. Popper’s Penguins for 20th Century Fox.
