How Pixar team created Wall - E
Pixar’s “Wall - E,” had its premiere on 27 June 2008.
Before the movie hits the theaters we watched many “Wall - E” trailers and great photos from this animated movie.
Andrew Stanton with William Austin Lee (”WALL - E,” “Ratatouille,” “Ice Age”, “The Incredibles” - character modeling and additional animator), Doug Frankel (”Ratatouille”, “The Incredibles” - animator, “The Lion King” - “Scar” - animator), Keith Daniel Klohn (one of the Effects Sequence Leads - “Cars”, “The Incredibles”,”Finding Nemo”, “Ice Age”. Klohn is now working on the next Pixar film, ‘Up,’ due out in the summer of 2009) from Pixar were in charge of creating Wall - E from the start, beginning with primitive shapes to mock up the design.
Animator Angus MacLane (”Wall - E,” “Ratatouille,” “Cars,” “Monsters, Inc.,” “The Incredibles,” “Finding Nemo”) worked in Maya and Pixar proprietary software Menv to be sure Wall - E could hit the poses and expressions that MacLane wanted.
“Wall - E” is a story of a lonely robot meant for greater things. Spending his years on Earth cleaning up humanities garbage, the little trash compacter has more gizmos than a Swiss Army knife and more soul than his hollow chest can hold.
Wall - E was a character that didn’t actually speak or even have a nose or mouth, so his design had to allow for the ability to communicate through his body language, eye expressions, and a few mechanical sounds.

Andrew Stanton confirms Pixar’s ‘John Carter’
The Pixar Blog confirmed directly from ”Wall-E” director Andrew Stanton himself that he is indeed currently writing the script for the upcoming Edgar Rice Burroughs‘ science fiction book ”John Carter Of Mars”.
Published in novel form in 1917, A Princess Of Mars (the first novel in series) focused on Civil War veteran John Carter who finds himself transported to Mars. The book is regarded as a 20th century pulp classic.
John Carter is a red blooded American civil war hero and fighting man from Virginia. A strange incident whilst prospecting in Apache country propels him to Mars where he immediately encounters the enormous war-like green men of Mars and the planets equally alien landscapes, animals and technology. Soon Carter falls in with the red men (and their beautiful red women, including Dejah Thoris, Princess of Helium, in particular) and his non-stop adventures begin.
Stanton, a Pixar veteran also wrote the screenplays for ”Toy Story”, ”A Bug’s Life”, ”Toy Story 2”, ”Monsters Inc”, ”Finding Nemo”, and ”Wall-E.”
It is unclear whether John Carter Of Mars will be an entirely CGI film in line with Pixar’s previous movies, or a mixture of animation and live-action footage.

Pixar has released a brand new featurette for the upcoming “Wall-E” movie, showing the crew praising director Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo) for being a big nerd.
The year is 2700, and planet Earth has long been uninhabitable. For hundreds of years, Wall-E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) has been taking out the trash, and collecting precious knick-knacks in order to stave off the boredom of his dreary routine. Little does Wall-E realize that he has recently stumbled onto a secret that could save planet Earth, and once again make the ravaged planet safe for all humankind. When highly advanced search robot Eve makes friends with Wall-E and realizes the value of his remarkable discovery, she excitedly races back to let the humans know that there’s hope for their home planet after all. But after centuries alone in space, Wall-E can’t stand the thought of losing the only friend he’s ever known, and eagerly follows her into the deepest reaches of space on the adventure of a lifetime. Along the way, the friendly trash-collecting robot who has always known what he was made for gradually begins to understand what he was meant for.
