The first domestic trailer for director Kevin Munroe‘s (TMNT) new comedy-tinged horror-thriller, Dylan Dog: Dead of Night, is now online.
The film, based off the popular Italian horror comics, stars Brandon Routh as the titular character – a hard-bitten paranormal investigator – with Sam Huntington as his assistant Marcus Adams and Anita Briem as Dog’s client Elizabeth Ryan.

Brandon Routh (Superman Returns) stars as hesitant paranormal detective Dylan Dog, who finds himself in a struggle between and among the undead, and Sam Huntington (Marcus), Dylan’s trusted assistant. Also co-starring are Taye Diggs (TV’s Private Practice) as Vargas, head of the Vampire family, Anita Briem (Journey to the Center of the Earth) as Elizabeth, another would-be in the long line of Dylan defeats and Peter Stormare (Constantine), as Wolfgang, the head of the werewolf family. “Dead of Night” is based on the world’s best-selling horror comic series, “Dylan Dog,” created by Tiziano Sclavi and published by Italy’s Sergio Bonelli Editore. The comic book series has sold over 56 million units in 17 languages since its debut in 1986.

The movie is based on Italian comic series Dylan Dog, created by Tiziano Sclavi. Published since 1986 by Sergio Bonelli Editore. Brandon Routh stars as a British detective named Dylan Dog, who is fascinated by fear, and has made it his profession. Thus, his cases revolve around supernatural things, making Dylan the world’s only Investigator of Nightmares. Taye Diggs plays Vargas, the sleek and sinister leader of a family of vampires and Sam Huntington plays Dylan’s zombie sidekick Marcus.

“Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D” follows the adventures of a geological scientist (specializing in volcanology) who goes in search of his missing brother and, along with his nephew and hot Icelandic guide, stumbles to the Center of Earth where adventure and danger all exist in three dimensions.
