Burton’s Alice in Wonderland centers on the now-19-year-old Alice.
Mia Wasikowska as Alice, who returns to the whimsical world she first encountered as a young girl, reuniting with her childhood friends: the White Rabbit (Michael Sheen), Tweedledee and Tweedledum (Matt Lucas), the Dormouse (Barbara Windsor), the Caterpillar (Alan Rickman), the Cheshire Cat (Stephen Fry), and of course, the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp).

Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland hits theaters next month. Until then, every week Disney will release new photos, clips, TV spots and behind the scenes videos that reveal more about the characters and the story. The latest batch includes some photos of main characters, concept arts, TV spot and a new videos. The videos centres on Alice herself, but features little we haven’t seen before.
2010 Academy Award Nominations Live Streaming
Tuesday morning the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will announce the nominees for the 82nd annual Academy Awards. The nominations will be announced starting at 5:30am PST on the west coast (8:38 a.m. EST) with Anne Hathaway and Academy President Tom Sherak announcing all the nominees.
One major difference this year will be the addition of five more contenders for the Best Picture award. Instead of the usual five nominees, this year the Academy has decided to nominate ten deserving films. This is the first time since 1943.

Alice embarks on a fantastical journey to find her true destiny and end the Red Queen’s reign of terror. The all-star cast also includes Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter and Crispin Glover. The screenplay is by Linda Woolverton.
