Laetitia Casta in Arbitrage
Yeah, you read that correctly, we’ll soon have a chance to watch lovely Laetitia Casta on a big screen in the upcoming Nicholas Jarecki project titled Arbitrage.
But I’m sure you’re familiar with this one, since we had a little chat about the whole thing, so by now we all know that Richard Gere, Susan Sarandon, Tim Roth, Brit Marling, rapper Drake, Aubrey Graham and Nate Parker are all on board for the project that will follow:
“…a hedge-fund magnate who struggles to complete the sale of his trading business to a big bank before the level of fraud is exposed. Aside from a shady business, the hedge fund guy juggles a wife and an art dealer mistress as well as rivals who want to bring him down.”
Tim Roth to Complete the Cast of Nicholas Jarecki’s Arbitrage
Oscar nominee Tim Roth (Pulp Fiction) has signed to star in forthcoming financial thriller Arbitrage; in fact, Roth is the latest actor to join the cast of writer/director Nicholas Jarecki’s (The Outsider) indie drama.
The film stars Richard Gere (Primal Fear) as a hedge fund magnate who is in over his head and desperate to complete the sale of his shady trading empire to a major bank before his fraud is revealed. An unexpected, bloody error forces him to turn to the most unlikely corner for help in protecting him from rivals who want to bring him down
Brit Marling Joins Richard Gere and Susan Sarandon for Arbitrage
Time for Arbitrage update! Of course, it’s a casting update, and today we have something interesting to share with you, because Another Earth star, Brit Marling, has joined the cast of this one.
You probably remember our previous reports that included Al Pacino, Eva Green, rapper Drake, Susan Sarandon and Richard Gere, but it looks that only Sarandon and Gere are now on board for the upcoming Nicholas Jarecki‘s project.
Here’s what Marling revealed in an interview with Movieline:
“I’m doing something in April called ‘Arbitrage’ that I think will be really fun to do, coming in as an actor with nothing to do with the writing or the producing. That’s a lovely experience, to come in and just do that job.” We definitely agree with her!
Richard Gere Joins Arbitrage
Richard Gere will replace Al Pacino in an upcoming Nicholas Jarecki’s debut feature film titled Arbitrage.
Well, actually, that’s the latest rumor when it comes to this movie, but I’m sure you all remember that back in November we had a little report about the whole thing, and that Pacino was back then attached to star as the lead.
Nicholas Jarecki penned the script that will center on “a hedge-fund magnate who struggles to complete the sale of his trading business to a big bank before the level of fraud is exposed.
Aside from a shady business, the hedge fund guy juggles a wife and an art dealer mistress as well as rivals who want to bring him down.”
Drake to Join Eva Green in Arbitrage?
Here’s an interesting casting news! The Young Money rapper, Drake, is in talks to star in Arbitrage, an upcoming Nicholas Jarecki‘s indie-financial-industry drama, alongside Susan Sarandon and Eva Green.
Unfortunately, according to the latest reports, Al Pacino, originally cast in the film, no longer is attached to the project.
So, at this moment still no word on who will be taking over Pacino’s role, but we do know that Susan Sarandon and Eva Green will play the roles of the wife and the main character’s mistress.
As for Drake, it’s still unknown what role he’ll play, although it’s believed “he’ll not be there for a Young Money cameo appearance, belting out hip hop lyrics.”
