Bond Star Eva Green Shooting ‘Cracks’ in Dublin

Bond Star Eva GreenCasino Royale” star Eva Green begins work on her new film ‘Cracks‘ in Dublin today.Along with Green, the film will also star ‘Atonement’s Juno Temple and ‘28 Weeks Later’ actress Imogen Poots.

Set in a boarding school in 1930s England, the film tells the story of a girl’s unhealthy bond with her teacher which is threatened by the arrival of a new student.

The film is an Irish-UK co-production, with the Irish company Element Pictures among the companies involved.

Speaking about the film Andrew Lowe of Element Pictures said:

“We are particularly pleased that Jordan [Scott, director] has cast two 13-year-old Dublin girls, with no previous drama experience, Adele McCann and Zoe Carroll, for two key roles.”

Scott is the daughter of legendary director Ridley Scott and is making her feature directing debut with ‘Cracks’.

Her father’s company, Scott Free, is also among the producers of the film.

‘Cracks’ will be shot in Ireland over the next seven weeks.

Keira’s ‘Atonement’ dress voted best film costume of all time

Keira AtonementKeira Knightley’s green dress in her new film ‘Atonement’ has been voted the best film costume of all time in a poll conducted by Sky Movies and In Style magazine. The green silk gown beat classic favorites like Marilyn Munroe’s white dress from “The Seven Year Itch” and Audrey Hepburn’s ever-inspirational little black dress in ‘Breakfast At Tiffany’s.’

Runners-up included the cult-inspiring skin-tight black leather pants worn by Olivia Newton-John in “Grease”, the blue gown worn by Kate Winslet in “Titanic” and Diane Keaton’s tie-and-waistcoat ensemble in’”Annie Hall.’

Nicole Kidman’s corset from Moulin Rouge, Liza Minnelli’s fishnet stocking and bowler hat costume from Cabaret, Cate Blanchett’s gown from “Elizabeth: The Golden Age” and Vivien Leigh’s memorable dresses from “Gone With the Wind” rounded up the top ten.
