Speaking to Playboy magazine, actor Daniel Craig has revealed that despite the fact that he signed a contract for a total of four James Bond films, he is not sure that he will return for the third installment. Craig said that where he goes from here depends on “Quantum of Solace.”

“I did sign on for four so a piece of paper says there are two more to do,” he commented. “But let’s see how this one goes. In the film business, everything doesn’t always go according to plan. We’ll wait and see. If it goes wrong, we’ll have to rethink things.”

Re-reading Ian Fleming’s James Bond books made movie hunk Daniel Craig broody and miserable - and that was a good thing. The British stud, who first played 007 in Casino Royale, is back for more Bond in new film Quantum of Solace - and he wanted to portray the darker side of the suave superspy.

Craig recalled reading the books when he was younger and finding Bond a workaholic depressive - and that’s the character he wanted to channel in the latest adventure. Read the rest of this entry

Residents in the western Austrian town of Bregenz were keeping their eyes peeled Tuesday for actor Daniel Craig who is shooting several scenes for the upcoming James Bond movie in the town.

A film crew will be in town until May 9 to shoot scenes for Quantum of Solace.

Bregenz, Austria
Filming Tuesday started with a chase scene in the city’s festival hall, a spokesman for the Bregenz opera festival said.

The city’s annual opera festival, with its signature floating stage on Lake Constance, will play a prominent role in the movie.

In the evening several streets in the medieval town, with a population of 30,000, will be closed off for filming, before filming on the floating stage Wednesday.

For James Bond to chase his adversaries across the huge stage, which is dominated by elaborate props and a huge eye, festival organizers set up a complete performance of Puccini’s Tosca, complete with audience.

Barbara Broccoli wants ‘naked’ Craig in ‘Solace’

Daniel CraigFilm bosses want Daniel Craig to appear nude in the next James Bond movie, ‘Quantum of Solace‘ say reports.

Producer Barbara Broccoli admitted that she regularly asked Craig whether he would strip off for the role, but confessed that the actor hadn’t complied with her requests so far.

She told: “I’m always after him to take his clothes off, every day.

“I have to fight on behalf of all the women, and some of the men, too. I’m doing my best.”

Craig famously appeared wearing just his swimming shorts in the last 007 film Casino Royale.

“What Marc wanted and the producers and what I wanted is to bring back a visual flair to the movie, so that every frame in every shot that we see is beautiful.” said Daniel Craig recently.

Maybe Craig will do it, one short scene of his sweat naked back and down… :P
