Set in New York City’s modern whirl of fashion and publishing, “The Women” tells the story of Mary Haines (Meg Ryan), a clothing designer who seems to have it all – a beautiful country home, a rich financier husband, an adorable 11-year-old daughter and a part-time career creating designs for her father’s venerable clothing company.

The story centers on a group of gossipy, high-society women who spend their days at the beauty salon and haunting fashion shows. The sweet, happily-wedded Mary Haines finds her marriage in trouble when shopgirl Crystal Allen gets her hooks into Mary’s man.

Naturally, this situation becomes the hot talk amongst Mary’s catty friends, especially the scandalmonger Sylvia Fowler, who has little room to talk, she finds herself on a train to Reno and headed for divorce right after Mary. But with a bit of guts and daring, Mary snatches her man right back from Crystal’s clutches.

‘Then She Found Me’ – 2 New Posters Released
Two new posters from the upcoming film “Then She Found Me” has been released, featuring Helen Hunt with Bette Midler and Hunt with Colin Firth and Matthew Broderick.

The tagline states: “Life can change in a heartbeat.”
The movie is directed by Hunt and is based on a novel by Elinor Lipman.

A New York schoolteacher (Helen Hunt) hits a midlife crisis when, in quick succession, her husband leaves, her adoptive mother dies and her real one, an eccentric talk show host, materializes and turns her life upside down.

Her life becomes more and more complicated when she separated from her husband and met the father from one of her students, with whom she falls in love with.
‘Then She Found Me‘, which marked the directorial debut of Hunt, based on a novel by Elinor Lipman, has gotten rave reviews when it opened the Palm Springs International Film Festival on January 3.
Featuring also Colin Firth, Bette Midler and Matthew Broderick, the ThinkFilm’s movie will be released in limited theaters on April 25.
