Two New International Big Momma’s House 3 Posters and Trailer
We have a trailer for Big Momma’s House 3. And even more, we put up a couple of new international posters from the movie. These two come from Germany and show us a little more what we might expect from the third installment. Will it answer all the questions left open by the previous episode? Weather or not to trust, the “Big Momma’s House” sequels strictly follow the classic Hollywood trilogy structure. “Big Momma’s House” was an origin story, enlightening how Martin Lawrence first came to dress up like a chubby old lady. Operation: Endgame Poster and Photos
Check out the poster and photos from upcoming action comedy Operation: Endgame, which starring Joe Anderson, Rob Corddry, Ellen Barkin, Odette Yustman, Zach Galifianakis, Emilie de Ravin, Maggie Q, Adam Scott, Brandon T. Jackson, Beth Grant, Bob Oedenkirk, Michael Hitchcock, Ving Rhames and Jeffrey Tambor.
Operation: Endgame centers around two rival teams of government assassins, who work out of a top-secret underground facility and use code names from the Tarot deck. When new hire “The Fool” (Anderson) joins the group, he arrives for his first day only to discover that the boss has been murdered and the office has been locked down and turned into a ticking time bomb. He must survive his ambitious co-workers, find the killer, and discover a way out before the whole place explodes.
Big Momma’s: Like Father, Like Son
Are you guys ready for the third installment of the Big Momma’s House franchise?
If you are we’re more than happy to inform you that Faizon Love, Emily Rios, Portia Doubleday and Michelle Ang have signed to co-star in 20th Century Fox’s Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son.
They join Martin Lawrence, Brandon T. Jackson and Jessica Lucas, and that’s quite interesting cast.
Check out the official synopsis: FBI Agent Malcolm Turner and his 17-year-old nephew Trent go undercover at an all-girls’ school for the arts, after Trent witnesses a murder. They pose, respectively, as Big Momma and Charmaine, in order to find evidence incriminating the murderer before he finds them.
So, we already know Lawrence will repeat his Big Momma role, T. Jackson will play Charmaine, while Rios, Doubleday (recently co – starred in Youth in Revolt) and Ang (that will appear in the Jodie Foster directed drama The Beaver) will play students at the school who befriend Jackson’s character.
Lottery Ticket Trailer and Poster
Warner Bros. Pictures has released the trailer and poster for the upcoming comedy Lottery Ticket starring Bow Wow, Ice Cube, Brandon T. Jackson, Natari Naughton and T-Pain.
Kevin Carson (Bow Wow), 18-year-old man living in the projects, wins $370 million in a nationwide lottery. When his opportunistic neighbors discover he has the winning ticket in his possession, Kevin must survive their greedy and sometimes even threatening actions over a three-day holiday weekend before he can claim his prize.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians Review
Percy Jackson & the Olympians sounds like an Otis Redding cover band. It is, instead, an unofficial cover of the Harry Potter franchise. “The Lightning Thief,’’ the first film in what its makers at 20th Century Fox almost certainly hope will become a series, features a New York teenager named Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman) who’s introduced to a world of magic, demons, and special effects. Very little of it is as persuasive or enveloping as its beloved English counterpart. But it works very hard to distract 11-year-olds from thinking about the November arrival of “The Deathly Hallows.’’
Based on the popular teen novels written by Rick Riordan, Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief is hoping to catch on like Harry Potter at the theaters, so much so the director of the first two Potter features, Chris Columbus, duped Fox into hiring him for the gig. However, Fox must have forgotten this was the same guy that directed I Love You Beth Cooper for the studio only a year ago, proving his talents do have limits, as does the filmed version of Percy Jackson.
Telling the story of its title character, played by 18-year-old Logan Lerman — a gifted young actor who had an excellent turn in My One and Only — we learn early on Percy Jackson is the son of Poseidon, but as it turns out the Gods aren’t the stay at home type of parents and Percy has no idea who is father is. This origin story of sorts finds its footing as Zeus’s lightning bolt is stolen (not exactly sure how that happens), and the King of the Gods places the blame on his nephew Percy and has given him 14 days to return it or a war of the Gods will begin. Based on Rick Riordan’s book. The film is based on the first novel in Rick Riordan’s “Percy Jackson & the Olympians” series.
Percy Jackson is directed by Chris Columbus (Home Alone, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets) and will be released to theaters on February 12, 2010.
