Full “Mummy 3″ Trailer !
The full trailer for “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor” has debuted online featuring tons of action and dragons.
Directed by Rob Cohen, the anticipated film stars Brendan Fraser, Jet Li, Maria Bello, John Hannah, Michelle Yeoh, Anthony Wong, Luke Ford and Isabella Leong.The blockbuster global “Mummy” franchise takes a spellbinding turn as the action shifts to Asia for the next chapter in the adventure series. Fraser returns as explorer Rick O’Connell to combat the resurrected Han Emperor (Li) in an epic that races from the catacombs of ancient China to the neon-lit streets of post-war Shanghai and high into the spectacular Himalayas. Rick is joined in this all-new adventure by son Alex (Ford), wife Evelyn (Bello) and her brother, Jonathan (Hannah). And this time, the O’Connells must stop a mummy awoken from a 2,000-year-old curse who threatens to plunge the world into his merciless, unending service.
“The Mummy 3” is scheduled to hit theaters on August 1st.

New ‘Mummy 3′ Trailer with ‘Wanted’

The first teaser trailer for “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor” hit theaters and the net in early May and now, we know when to expect the second trailer. Director Rob Cohen has once again made a blog update over on his official website, where he gives the fans an idea on how far along they are in the special effects phase of post production as well as giving the precise day of the new trailer.
I’m off to London tonight after finalizing 43 Cool Full 3-D VFX shots today. We are up to 580 finals, 366 shots to go. The scoring begins on Tuesday and while there, I will shoot a few London-base shots with Brendan, Maria and John Hannah. The VFX work will continue by satellite hook up…
There will be another trailer out with Universal’s file “Wanted” starring Angelina Jolie on June 27th. Of course, I will have it here on my blog for all of you.
The upcoming third installment in the Mummy franchise for Universal Pictures stars Brendan Fraser, Jet Li, Maria Bello, John Hannah, Michelle Yeoh, Anthony Wong, Luke Ford and Isabella Leong. Director Cohen took over for Sommers, who’s working on the G.I Joe production. Screenwriters Alfred Gough and Miles Millar were in charge of the script. The Mummy 3″ is scheduled to hit theaters on August 1st.

The new teaser trailer and new shots for Universal Pictures’ The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor are now online! Brendan Fraser returns as explorer Rick O’Connell to combat the resurrected Han Emperor in an epic that races from the catacombs of ancient China high into the frigid Himalayas.
The film takes place in the Far East, trouble-seeking father-and-son duo Rick (Brendan Fraser) and Alex O’Connell (Luke Ford) unearth the mummy of the first Emperor of Qin (Jet Li) — a shape-shifting entity who was cursed by a wizard (Michelle Yeoh) centuries ago.
Director is Rob Cohen (Fast and the Furious, XXX). The Mummy 3″ is scheduled to hit theaters on August 1st.

Brendan Fraser Will Be In G.I. Joe!
A few weeks back El Mayimbe had reported that Brendan Fraser booked the role of Gung Ho for Stephen Sommer’s big screen live-action adaptation of “G.I. Joe.”The guys over at Newsarama caught up with Fraser while promoting Journey to the Center of the Earth over at New York Comic Con and asked the question whether or not he will be G.I. Joe and YES HE CONFIRMED what we reported.
From the Egyptian desert to deep below the polar ice caps, the elite co-ed G.I. Joe team, based from it’s headquarters The Pit, deploys the latest in next-gen spy and military equipment to fight crooked arms dealer Destro and the growing threat of the mysterious Cobra organization from plunging the world into chaos.

First Trailer for ‘Journey to the Center Of Earth 3D’
The first trailer for New Line’s Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D has popped up online courtesy of Cineplex. The new update of the Jules Verne classic stars Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutcherson and Anita Briem in the title roles. Eric Brevig handled the directing, based on a screenplay by D.V. ‘Inkheart’ Pushed Back To 2009
Brendan Fraser will be a little less busy in 2008, now that Inkheart has been delayed from its planned release this fall to an early 2009 spot. But lest you think New Line delayed the release to give its poor star a release, check this out: the studio openly admitted the delay was due to the impact of the writer’s strike on television.
“Huh?” you ask? Well, remember that New Line got seriously burned with their most recent fantasy epic, The Golden Compass. While there are plenty of reasons why it tanked, the most likely being that it just wasn’t very good, you could argue that the lack of new TV programming meant fewer people were seeing their TV ads, which meant fewer people wanted to see it. Now flash-forward to a year from now, with the strike still going on. Will anyone be watching TV anymore? Given how easy it is to reach out to kids–Inkheart’s target audience—through television, you can see why they’d want to catch as many eyeballs as they can on the small screen.
