Cameron Diaz Will Star In Green Hornet
Earlier this month we wrote that Cameron Diaz is in talks to star in “The Green Hornet.” Today it’s been confirmed that she will play the female lead, a reporter and love interest, in the Sony Pictures comedy superhero project.
Diaz will co-star with Seth Rogen as Lenore Case in the movie about a millionaire playboy who becomes a masked vigilante by night aided by his sidekick Kato.
“Lenore, yes, and I think that’s all I can tell you or else I would have to kill you. I read the whole script. I know what happens exactly, and I’m not telling you,” she told MTV.
Nicolas Cage To Play GREEN HORNET Villain
Nicolas Cage is in early talks with Columbia Pictures to play the gangster villain in “The Green Hornet.” Cameron Diaz, who was announced a few weeks ago, is negotiating to play the female lead, a reporter and love interest, in the movie.
In Michel Gondry-directed “The Green Hornet,” Seth Rogen stars as the title character and also co-wrote the screenplay with Evan Goldberg.
Rogen will star as Britt Reid, a bored playboy who inherits his father’s crusading newspaper, the Daily Sentinel. By night he is a masked hero, fighting crime with his sidekick Kato, who has incredible martial arts skills.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Diaz is interested in playing the female lead in “The Green Hornet” that will star Seth Rogen and be directed by Michel Gondry.
Seth Rogen also wrote the script with writing partner Evan Goldberg.

The trailer for the upcoming Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko) supernatural thriller “The Box” has appeared online.

Tom Cruise And Cameron Diaz In Wichita
Tom Cruise will probably do the 20th Century Fox action comedy formerly titled “Wichita” as his next film.
Cameron Diaz will also star in this movie that will be directed by James Mangold (”3:10 to Yuma,” “Walk the Line,” “Kate & Leopold“). Apparently, both Cruise and Diaz approved the script, and their negotiations with Fox are in the “advanced” stage.
