Kristen Stewart in Talks to Star in Snow White and the Huntsman
Ok, we have the new Snow White – say ‘hi’ to Kristen Stewart!
Unfortunately, nothing is confirmed yet, and I know you hate when something is not official, but wait!
According to the latest reports, negotiations are still in progress, and she now appears to be even closer to join the cast of Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman than last week.
Stewart would join previously announced Viggo Mortenson, who is in talks to play the Huntsman and Charlize Theron, who is in talks to play the Evil Queen.
Last week we had a little chat about her possible cast, and now, according to THR she’s currently in negotiations to star in the film “with both parties involved wanting it to happen.”

You already saw the title, so you know it’s about the upcoming Universal’s re-imagining of the fairy tale classic Snow White and the Huntsman.
For the role of the Huntsman Universal had been looking at Tom Hardy and Johnny Depp as well as Michael Fassbender.
So, let’s start with the latest casting updates – Viggo Mortensen is currently in talks to star in the whole thing as Huntsman, while the latest actresses attached to the project are Kristen Stewart and Emily Browning for the pivotal role – Snow White.

Michael Fassbender Joins Ridley Scott’s Prometheus
German actor Michael Fassbender has joined Noomi Rapace as the second official star in Ridley Scott‘s Prometheus.
As we mentioned before, Ridley Scott and Damon Lindelof are rescuing the script’s corpse by renovating the original idea into a new film titled “Prometheus”. Right now we find out the movie just shifted release dates, moving from a March 2012 to a high-profile summer release of June 8, 2012.
THR reports that Michael Fassbender has officially signed on to star in Ridley Scott’s “Prometheus”, an original sci-fi epic that jumped out of discussions of an Alien prequel. Fassbender will play an android. Noomi Rapace was recently announced as the female lead of the film, a character named Elizabeth Shaw, after a long period of speculation as well. No word yet on whether Charlize Theron or Angelina Jolie will be skip to board as the role of Vickers.
Damon Herriman Joins Clint Eastwood’s J. Edgar Hoover Biopic
Damon Herriman, guy who you probably remember from FX’s Justified, has joined Clint Eastwood’s upcoming J. Edgar Hoover biopic that we already wrote about.
So, by now, you know that Leonardo DiCaprio and Armie Hammer are already on board and according to the previous reports, there’s still an offer on the table for Charlize Theron.
According to The Playlist, “Herriman has been cast as Bruno Hauptmann, the man convicted of abducting and killing Charles and Anne Lindbergh’s baby in March of 1932. His conviction later came into question however, with police accused of doctoring evidence as well as ignoring and intimidating witnesses.

So, you already know that Leonardo DiCaprio is set to play the role of director of America’s FBI, boss who has been played by several actors in the past, from Ernest Borgnine and Bob Hoskins through to Billy Crudup, who took a supporting slot as a young Hoover in last year’s Public Enemies.
Hoover was known for harassing political activists and wire-tapping public figures, but also credited with building the FBI into a large and efficient crime-fighting agency, and with instituting a number of modern innovations to police technology, such as a centralized fingerprint file and forensic laboratories.

The latest and a real big rumor from Hollywood goes like this: Christopher Nolan has put the call out to fill two female lead roles in The Dark Knight Rises.
Actresses that Christopher Nolan has been rumored to have met with include Keira Knightley, Natalie Portman, Rachel Weisz, Anne Hathaway, Blake Lively and Naomi Watts.
And we must admit this is pretty impressive. But how to expect less from great name such as Christopher Nolan!?
According to Deadline, Nolan is casting for two different female roles. One of the roles is to be a love interest for Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) and the other a villain.
But that’s not all. Just another one rumor, please.
Paramount Acquires Reitman and Cody’s Young Adult
Paramount Pictures has acquired worldwide distribution rights to Mandate Pictures’ Young Adult from Academy Award-nominated director Jason Reitman and Academy Award-winning writer Diablo Cody. Academy-Award winning actress Charlize Theron (“Monster,” “The Road”) stars alongside Golden Globe nominee Patrick Wilson (Angels in America, the upcoming “Morning Glory”) and Patton Oswalt (“Ratatouille”).
The movie will be produced by Academy-Award® nominated producers Lianne Halfon and Russell Smith of Mr. Mudd Productions, Mason Novick, Diablo Cody, Jason Reitman through his film banner Right of Way Films and Denver & Delilah Films. Nathan Kahane, John Malkovich, Helen Estabrook and Steven Rales will executive produce. Mary Lee, Kelli Konop, Brian Bell and Beth Kono will co-produce. Paramount’s David Beaubaire, will run point for the studio.
Patton Oswalt and Patrick Wilson Join Young Adult
Anyone tired of the latest casting news yet? Well, we’re definitely not, and that’s why we’re here to report that Patrick Wilson and Patton Oswalt are in talks to join the cast of Jason Reitman‘s next project titled Young Adult.
They will join the cast that already includes lovely Charlize Theron, in a movie that centers:
“…on an attractive, but single — and misguided and lost — mid-thirties young adult novel writer living in Minneapolis.
Divorced, but not entirely unhappy, this woman’s life is one day radically transformed when she receives a birth announcement from an old, still-idealized ex-boyfriend, triggering something deep inside her.
