New Moon Review
“The Twilight Saga: New Moon” is the second movie based on the series of four vampire-based fantasy and romance books by author Stephenie Meyer. The New Moon movie continues the story of the first Twilight movie about the ill-fated romance between mortal Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart, and vampire Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson.
New Moon goes through great pains to present itself as a descendent of Romeo And Juliet, except without all that icky tragedy in the end. There are warring clans—in this case, werewolves and vampires—a rival suitor, tragic miscommunication, and at the center of it all, two self-absorbed teenage lovers. Throw in a revenge subplot and an ancient, power-hungry clan of evil Italian vampires, and it all sounds potentially thrilling. New Moon’s Wolf Pack First Look

The first look at “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon” Wolf Pack has been unraveled. Photo showcases the wolf pack – made up of Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Bronson Pelletier. According to USA Today, “New Moon” director Chris Weitz insisted on the actors’ Native American ancestry.
Weitz said:
“They had to have papers that proved their heritage”
In the story, the Wolf Pack defends humans against vampires although they have a tribal history intricately entwined with Edward Cullen and his family.
New Moon is currently shooting in Vancouver and also stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Dakota Fanning, Nikki Reed, Tyson Houseman, Jamie Campbell-Bower and Michael Sheen.
In related news, Nikki Finke (Deadline Hollywood Daily )is hearing that David Slade (Hard Candy) is in talks to direct third installment “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.”
