“The Twilight Saga: New Moon” is the second movie based on the series of four vampire-based fantasy and romance books by author Stephenie Meyer. The New Moon movie continues the story of the first Twilight movie about the ill-fated romance between mortal Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart, and vampire Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson.
New Moon goes through great pains to present itself as a descendent of Romeo And Juliet, except without all that icky tragedy in the end. There are warring clans—in this case, werewolves and vampires—a rival suitor, tragic miscommunication, and at the center of it all, two self-absorbed teenage lovers. Throw in a revenge subplot and an ancient, power-hungry clan of evil Italian vampires, and it all sounds potentially thrilling. Summit Entertainment has released new hi-res photos of the Italian royal family Volturi from “The Twilight Saga: New Moon.” These are photos from the movie and feature a look at Jane (Dakota Fanning), Aro (Michael Sheen), Caius (Jamie Campbell Bower), Alec (Cameron Bright) and Demetri (Charlie Bewley).

With the help of her childhood friend Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), Bella refurbishes an old motorbike to carry her on her adventures. Bella’s frozen heart is gradually thawed by her budding relationship with Jacob, a member of the mysterious Quileute tribe, who has a supernatural secret of his own.

Exclusive “New Moon” footage will be presented by Summit Entertainment at San Diego Comic Con 2009. Last year, more than 6,000 fans of the “Twilight” book lined up outside San Diego’s Convention Center. They are already queuing at this year’s Comic Con to see their idols Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner if they make an appearance.

The LA Times has revealed brand new picture from “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” featuring Isabella “Bella” Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) inside a car.

They also talk about Robert Pattinson’s extra scenes filmed for the movie, which will see him take on a bigger role than in the book:
The plan is to digitally insert Pattinson, who plays swoony good guy vampire Edward Cullen, into a scene that was filmed much earlier – one in which he appears as a spectral vision to his costar, Kristen Stewart, cautioning her headstrong character, Bella Swan, against hanging out with some unsavory-looking biker types.

The video featuring a glimpse at what goes on on the set of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” before the cameras start rolling, including an insight into how stars Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart get into character before the direction yells “action.”
After Bella recovers from the vampire attack that almost claimed her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and his family. However, a minor accident during the festivities results in Bella’s blood being shed, a sight that proves too intense for the Cullens, who decide to leave the town of Forks, Washington for Bella and Edward’s sake. Initially heartbroken, Bella finds a form of comfort in reckless living, as well as an even-closer friendship with Jacob Black. Danger in different forms awaits.
